After a long and dramatic season, the 2023 PGA Tour enters its home stretch this week as the FedEx Cup Play-Offs begin.
The first stop in the three-leg play-offs is the FedEx St. Jude Championship, staged at TPC Southwind in Memphis this weekend.
The field in Memphis is much smaller than it had been in previous years, with only 70 players making the cut compared to 125 from last season.
50 players will proceed to the second leg of the play-offs at the BMW Championship at Olympia Fields, while the grand finale, the Tour Championship at East Lake in Atlanta, is reserved for the best 30 players on the tour.
Apart from the prestige of winning the Tour Championship, there's an $18 million winner’s cheque on the table. John Rahm currently leads the race, with Scottie Scheffler, Rory McIlroy, Max Homa and Wyndham Clark completing the top five. All of that can change very quickly in the next fortnight, of course.
And as the best players in the world battle for glory on the fairways and greens, you also have the opportunity to take advantage of numerous golf betting offers across US sportsbooks.
1. BetMGM PGA 3-Ball Challenge
The BetMGM PGA 3-ball challenge has been on since May, and concludes with the FedEx St. Jude Championship and BMW Championship.
Every week, participants in the challenge can spin a wheel up to three times to reveal their roster of golfers for that week.
Bettors that have the best performing golfers will not only be rewarded with weekly prizes, but also qualify for a shot at the season-ending grand prize - a round at TPC Sawgrass. This comes with an additional $3,000 in withdrawable bonuses to be used for travel, accommodations, and food & beverage!
So, just like the PGA Tour has its end-of-season grand prize, BetMGM also has a big prize for golf bettors at the end of the campaign.
2. BetRivers FedEx St. Jude Championship Insurance
Thinking of placing a wager on the winner of this week's FedEx St. Jude Championship? You may want to do it on Betrivers. This is because the bookie is offering insurance on all real-money, outright, pre-tournament wagers.
If your wager wins, you will get your winnings. But if your golfer doesn't win the title, you will get your stake back as long as he finishes inside the top ten. Maximum stake returned is $25, and it is awarded as bonus bets.
Obviously, bets have to be placed before the tournament starts, and must have odds of -200 or higher.
And if you miss out on this offer, you can always partake in the BetRivers golf parlay insurance which returns $25 bonus bets for golf parlays that lose by just one leg. For a parlay to be eligible for this offer, it must have at least four selections, each with odds of at least -200. Total parlay odds must be +100 or more.
3. Bet365 FedEx St. Jude Championship Profit Boost
Bet365 is giving out a 25% profit boost on pre-event wagers on the FedEx St. Jude Championship. The Bet365 profit boost gives customers the chance to have bigger winnings without increasing their wagers.
The boost is available for bets on outright winner, first round leader or each-way extra markets.
Punters must click the "Profit Boost" option on their betslip in order to apply the boost. Once this is done, the value of the potential winnings will be adjusted to reflect the boost.
Bet365 also gives customers the opportunity to follow every shot from this week's tournament via the bet365 golf live tracker.
