The latest Golf Datatech National Rounds Played Report with results for July 2023 is out today.
The three-page report contains year over year results for eight regions, all states and several metropolitan areas. US rounds were up +3.2% for July 2023 and up +5.0% YTD when compared to July 2022.
Even though the Northeast and North Central markets endured some significantly increased precipitation in July, rounds played managed to pull out a 3.2% for the month and remain up 5.0% YTD, led by improvements out West.
Golf courses remain very busy, tee times are challenging to get during peak periods, and many private clubs continue to have waiting lists, despite increases in fees and long wait lists
