The Club at ArrowCreek wins 2023 Troon Cup

Unprecedented victories & exemplary performances illuminate the 20th edition of Troon Cup

Scottsdale, Ariz. (October 17, 2023) – The 2023 Troon Cup, featuring 63 four-person teams representing Troon-managed facilities from around the world, recently concluded at The Club at ArrowCreek in Reno, Nev. Played on the Club’s beautiful Legend and Challenge Courses, the three-day event included two days of competition, evening hospitality and a practice round. Making history, the formidable home team from The Club at ArrowCreek comprised of three female golfers and their golf professional, triumphantly clinched the 2023 Troon Cup title with an exceptional score of 136 (26 under par), etching their names in the annals of Troon Cup history. Also of historical note, a record 27 women participated in the 2023 Troon Cup, an example of how golf’s popularity continues to grow. In addition, the Low Professional Competition of the 2023 Troon Cup found its champion in Jerrell Grow from Pronghorn Club with a two-day score of 133 (11-under par).

Now in its 20th year, Troon Cup is held annually at a Troon-managed facility. Four-person teams consist of the head golf professional (or club representative) and three members. With 252 golfers competing in the event, the 2023 Troon Cup was one of the largest in tournament history. Tournament scoring was one net best ball and one gross best ball posted per foursome, per hole with daily and tournament leaders recognized as well as a team closest-to-the-pin.
