Inaugural CGX DIII Top100 Exposure Camps coming to Florida

12 top coaches join 72 juniors outside Orlando at Mission Inn Resort & Club in February

LOS ANGELES, CA – College Golf Experience (CGX), the leading junior golf company connecting juniors and parents with college coaches, announces its first ever DIII Top100 Girl’s and DIII Top100 Boy’s Exposure Camps, presented by adidas Golf, will be held at Mission Inn Resort & Club in Orlando, FL on February 3-4, 2024.

The girl’s and boy’s Top100 DIII Exposure Camps are now open for registration and will feature 12 top coaches (six men’s and six women’s) connecting with 72 juniors ages 13-18 who want to level up their game and build relationships in an immersive educational environment.

“So much of the value in these camps lies in the personal interaction that we get with the players. That time with each other opens the lines of communication that may not be there otherwise,” said Carnegie Mellon University Men’s and Women’s Head Golf Coach Dan Rodgers. “Also, getting to see who players really are, from a goals and personality standpoint, and them seeing who we really are, helps us be open with them about their journey to finding their fit in college golf. There are so many opportunities out there that are going unnoticed. For players of all levels, if you want to play college golf, there is a place that you can play.”

Head coaches from prestigious NCAA DIII golf programs confirmed for the upcoming Top100 Exposure Camps are:

DIII Top100 Boys Exposure Camp: Dan Rodgers – Carnegie Mellon, Jamie Coleman – Christopher Newport, John Sjoberg – Emory University, Jim Ott – Illinois Wesleyan, Steve Conley – Methodist University, and David Wetterich – Wittenberg University.

Players will also be outfitted by adidas Golf each day of the camp similar to what college golfers experience playing on their teams.

“Part of our vision from the beginning has been to connect top coaches across DI, DII, and DIII schools with junior golfers and parents to help navigate the challenging pathway of playing college golf at top-ranked programs,” says CGX Founder and CEO Joshua Jacobs. “We want all junior golfers to recognize that regardless of what collegiate Division they play in, there is always a right fit to help guide them towards. Bringing them and their parents together with coaches creates the vital connective tissue between junior golf and college golf.”
