Kay McMahon named online instruction editor at Pro Golf Weekly

Kay McMahon has a distinguished career in golf spanning over three decades including being elected a member of the LPGA Professionals Hall of Fame. She is a teacher, coach, author, speaker, sports journalist and creator of GOLF 8.5, “Simple Steps to a Classic Swing,” a unique personalized system to improve your game.


“I’ve spent the better part of my career in golf teaching players how to improve their game and have loved every minute along the way,” said the 1999 LPGA National Teacher of the Year from her home in Canaan, New York. “I look forward to expanding my Internet and Online presence by providing sound, solid and simple advice every week to the Pro Golf Weekly audience. I’m passionate about golf and teaching players of all ages about the fundamentals of the game which is gratifying, especially when students share their success stories with me.”


Kay established eduKaytionGolf with co-owner Eloise Trainor, founder of FUTURES Tour, now called the LPGA Epson Tour. Kay is a pioneer in many ways including being inducted into PGA of America as one of the first 10 women to join.
