Association of Golf Merchandisers invites applications for 2024 Scholarship Program

ROCKLIN, CA — The Association of Golf Merchandisers (AGM) proudly announces that applications are now open for its prestigious 2024 Scholarship Program. The program is designed to support students who are pursuing careers in golf merchandising and who have shown both commitment and aptitude in the field.

Jennifer Morton, CEO of the AGM, said, "Supporting the next generation of golf merchandisers is crucial to the ongoing growth and innovation of our industry. We are pleased to offer these scholarships as a testament to our commitment to fostering talent and helping students achieve their educational and career goals."

The AGM Scholarship Program awards scholarships based on the availability of funds and the merit of the applications received. Scholarships are granted for the 2024-2025 academic year and are paid directly to the recipients' academic institutions.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Applicants must be actively pursuing a career in golf merchandising.
  • Applicants are required to be currently enrolled at an accredited college, university, or technical institute.
  • Applicants must have completed at least their freshman year of college and be enrolled for the 2024-2025 academic year.
  • A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required to apply.

Application Requirements:

  • Submission of a completed official application form by October 1, 2024.
  • A 350-500 word essay detailing the applicant’s career objectives, interest in golf merchandising, and reasons for deserving the scholarship.
  • College transcripts and letters of recommendation from both an academic advisor or professor and a golf professional, merchandiser, or golf supplier.
