FRISCO, Texas (May 28, 2024) –– The 2024 PGA Buying Summit will offer a full day of 23 wide-ranging education sessions on July 29 to begin the mid-season industry event, July 29-31, in Frisco, Texas. PGA of America Education Sessions will be led by nationally recognized PGA of America Golf Professionals in the state-of-the-art Professional Development Center at the Home of the PGA of America, and afternoon Golf Retail Sessions will be presented by experts from partner Associations at the Omni PGA Frisco Resort.
The day of education will kick start the three-day Summit which features open ballroom exhibits by more than 150 brands, ONE2ONE buying appointments, and nighttime golf experiential and networking events across the spectacular PGA Frisco campus.
PGA of America Education Sessions will focus on three core Association tracks – Golf Operations, Teaching & Coaching and Executive Management – and will be held at the Home of the PGA of America with access to hybrid indoor/outdoor hitting bays, simulator bays, an indoor short-game area, a putting lab, modern classrooms and a full-size driving range. PGA of America Golf Professionals can earn one PDR credit per education session and up to six additional PDR credits for participation across the event.
This year’s Education Conference adds Golf Retail Sessions led by industry experts who have presented at conferences by the Association of Golf Merchandisers (AGM) and the PGA Show in Orlando. A Retail Networking Lunch will be followed by four Golf Retail Education Sessions at the Omni PGA Frisco Resort.
Education enrollment can be made during event registration at PGABuyingSummit.com. The fee for access to all PGA of America and Golf Retail Education Sessions is $100 for PGA of America Golf Professionals and $150 for golf buyers and industry professionals.
Attendance at the 2024 PGA Buying Summit is exclusive to PGA of America Golf Professionals and golf industry personnel. There is no event registration fee for qualified golf industry professionals through July 21, 2024. Beginning July 22, PGA of America, LPGA and International PGA Professionals can continue to register at no charge, while other industry personnel will incur a $50 event registration processing fee through the conclusion of the Summit, July 31, 2024.
