VISTA, CA – JP Golf is pleased to announce the release of their new wedge line, JP Camber, featuring JP’s signature cambered sole for crisp, clean, consistent turf interaction with every shot.
JP Camber is a one-piece, forged milled wedge made from 1025 carbon steel for a solid feel at impact for greater distance control and increased face stability on off center shots. The precision CNC milled face and grooves deliver maximum spin for versatile shot making in all conditions while the perimeter weighted cavity back design creates a super tuned center of gravity for increased energy transfer, consistent distance control, and face stability. The cambered sole was designed with extreme heel and toe relief and forward camber, preventing the leading edge from sticking in the turf and maintaining more speed through the divot. This sole design and the performance that it delivers is what sets JP wedges apart from other wedges.
“I’ve done performance testing with many different types of players from tour players to higher handicaps and what I have found is that regardless of your level, the common thread that all golfers need is consistency and forgiveness through the turf. All golfers need to be able to trust their wedge so they can eliminate negative thoughts, swing their swing and be aggressive,” said JP Harrington. “The forward camber or curved leading edge of the sole design provides the consistency the tour player demands and the forgiveness that all golfers need. The aggressive heel and toe relief provide maximum versatility to hit all the shots for the skilled golfer while also reducing the material that contacts the ground which results in more speed through the divot creating more spin, consistency, and forgiveness that all golfers can benefit from.”
