Lottie Woad wins 2024 Mark H. McCormack Medal; PGA Tour announces 2025 schedule

United States Golf Association, R&A: Lottie Woad has won the Mark H. McCormack Medal as the leading woman in the 2024 World Amateur Golf Ranking. Woad is the first female winner of the McCormack Medal from England and she receives exemptions into the 2025 U.S. Women’s Open and next year’s AIG Women’s Open. Woad's accomplishments this year include winning the Augusta National Women’s Amateur and finishing second at the NCAA D1 Women’s Championship. Later this month, she will compete for Great Britain and Ireland in the Curtis Cup at Sunningdale in England.

PGA Tour: Announces the 2025 FedEx Cup Regular Season and FedEx Cup Playoffs schedule, a 39-event slate. The 36-even regular season includes the four major championships, eight signature events, 18 full-field events and five additional events. The three-event playoffs will conclude with the Tour Championship Aug. 21-24. The eight signature events are: The Sentry (Dec. 30-Jan. 5), AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am (Jan. 27-Feb. 2); Genesis Invitational (Feb. 10-16), Arnold Palmer Invitational (March 3-9), RBC Heritage (April 14-20), Truist Championship (May 5-11), Memorial Tournament (May 26-June 1) and Travelers Championship (June 16-22). The 2025 FedEx Cup Fall, which will finalize eligibility for the 2026 season, will be announced at a later date.
