Support the GCSAA Foundation on GivingTuesday this Dec. 3

The GCSAA Foundation secures funding and support to strengthen advocacy, education and research that advances the work of golf course management professionals

Lawrence, Kan. (Nov. 5, 2024) Since GivingTuesday’s inception in 2012, the Tuesday after Thanksgiving has been a day to support charitable organizations and non-profits, ushering in the season of giving. This GivingTuesday, Dec. 3, the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA) hopes you will consider supporting the GCSAA Foundation, the philanthropic organization of GCSAA. P2 Golf Products, a leading golf driving range and equipment manufacturer, has generously committed to a $10,000 matching gift for donations made on GivingTuesday, which means you can double your impact to the GCSAA Foundation.

A gift to the Foundation will fund innovative turfgrass research, aid potential and current golf course management professionals in pursing their desired career path in this industry and support the sustainability of the game through advocacy and outreach efforts.

With this donation, P2 Golf will be recognized as a new partner for the GCSAA Foundation’s Drive Toward a Sustainable Future. P2 Golf is now also recognized as a new member of the Foundation’s Platinum Tee Club and in the Statesman’s Club through the Cumulative Giving Program, which recognizes donors who have given between $10,000 and $24,999 since 1987.

“At P2 Golf Products, making a difference where it counts is at the heart of what we do. This GivingTuesday, we’re excited to join forces with the GCSAA Foundation to support the future of golf — whether it’s the science of turfgrass or the pure joy of being on the course, and with our matching gift, we hope to make twice the impact this year. Together, let’s grow and give back to the game we all love. It’s a cause that’s close to our hearts, and we’re thrilled to be in it with you,” said Jessica Esteves, sales and marketing.

The monthly Beyond the Course e-newsletter makes it easy to stay current with all the Foundation is accomplishing. It includes a “Donor Corner” to recognize contributions from GCSAA members and friends, and the “GCSAA Foundation in Action” section outlines the ways the GCSAA Foundation is advancing its mission and ensuring the future of the game of golf.

This GivingTuesday is your opportunity to make an impact on the future of golf. Visit www.gcsaa.org/foundation/donate to donate online at your convenience or watch for a GivingTuesday email from GCSAA on Dec. 3 for more information on how to give.
