KemperSports properties top $2.5 million in donations for Folds of Honor

NORTHBROOK, Ill., Nov. 11, 2024KemperSports and its family of facilities nationwide have proudly eclipsed the $2.5 million milestone in fundraising for its longtime partner Folds of Honor, a nonprofit organization that provides life-changing educational scholarships to the families of fallen or disabled military service members and first responders.

For more than 10 years, KemperSports – a leader in golf, sports, entertainment and hospitality – has collaborated closely with Folds of Honor and empowered its team members nationwide to host creative programming, events, fundraisers and friendly competitions that support Folds of Honor’s mission. As a result of these collective efforts, KemperSports has funded more than 500 Folds of Honor scholarships to date.

“For more than a decade, KemperSports has always risen to the occasion and proved to be an amazing partner and selfless supporter of our mission”, said Lt. Col. Dan Rooney, founder and CEO of Folds of Honor. “KemperSports’ generous contributions – now exceeding $2.5 million – reflect a deep commitment to honoring the sacrifice of America’s heroes by providing their families with life-changing scholarships and educational opportunities. Through our shared love and passion for golf, we’re not only raising funds but also generating increased awareness for this important cause. While I’m certainly proud of the work we’ve accomplished to date, I’m even more excited about the continued impact we can have together in the years to come.”

As part of its steadfast commitment to Folds of Honor’s mission, KemperSports also offers a job program that connects Folds of Honor scholarship recipients and military families with meaningful employment opportunities across the golf, sports, hospitality, marketing and events industries.
