Industry veteran poised to drive success for leading footwear and apparel brand

TACOMA, WASHINGTON – TRUE linkswear (TRUE), creator of ultra-comfortable, modern golf footwear designed for walking on and off the course, has named Adam Minnich its Vice President of Sales. Minnich was previously Vice President – Field Sales at PXG for eight years and Senior Sales Rep for Nike Golf for 10 years and will be based in Minneapolis.

“Adam is a seasoned, creative and solution-oriented sales executive with a wealth of knowledge and experience in the golf industry,” said TRUE linkswear co-founder Jason Moore. “We’re excited to welcome him to the team and to benefit from his tremendous skills and insights.”

TRUE’s authentic roots to golf and passion for innovation are evident in the Pacific Northwest company’s personal, curated approach to customer relations. By directly partnering with retail Shops, golf shops, and providing golf clubs with one of a kind, custom experiences through their growing event business, TRUE linkswear continues its mission to grow the game and to stay true to its valued target market.

Minnich said TRUE’s outstanding company culture initially attracted him. “It's very authentic to golf,” he said. “The Pacific Northwest has a different vibe – it is much more casual, active, and forward thinking. Ryan and Jason Moore are enthusiastic about the game and created a team of people who really care about the product, the brand, and more importantly each other. I got that sense immediately. The company felt so warm and inviting and they are engaged with incredibly innovative products. They are truly making strides in the footwear market that are unique and needed in the industry. I also love the foot health aspects of TRUE footwear, too. Their zero-drop and accommodating toe box designs help all golfers Enjoy the Walk.”

Having worn TRUE as his work shoes for several years, Minnich is familiar with the brand’s products and comfort mantra. He is excited to move from the hard goods side of golf back to footwear. “I sold footwear and apparel for Nike, and think it's really cool to distribute products and have it in golf shops and speak to more consumers,” he said. “What TRUE is doing is really unique in a market where there is a ton of potential and opportunity. They are making a formidable impact with authentic innovation. More golfers need to have these on their feet. I want to do my part to make sure more golfers experience these impressive products. I love how they can be worn for work, or you can put them on on your way to the golf course. Golf does not need to have a costume where you have to completely change your shoes. It goes back to the company culture, and you feel that vibe when you put on your joggers with the hoodie and shoes. You’re going to look great on and off the course.”

For 2025, Minnich plans to implement a talented sales team that represents the brand at a high level across America – properly hiring, training, and developing a team that cares about one another and the product, and gets TRUE products into significantly more shops.
