ORLANDO, Fla. (Jan. 21, 2025) – GolfNow is taking another step in promoting the social aspects of golf through a new partnership with Spark Golf, the largest network of 9-hole, social golf leagues for players of all skill levels and hosted at more than 2,000 golf courses across the U.S. and Canada.
Through the partnership, GolfNow will promote Spark Golf to the millions of users who visit its tee-time reservation website each day. Promotional banners on the website will link users to local golf courses offering a Spark Golf league, where they can register for tee times and connect with other golfers.
Spark Golf offers a welcoming format and relaxed rules, designed for golfers looking for a fun and relaxing experience, while also enjoying a bit of friendly competition. Joining a league is free, and golfers can play with like-minded players from their local communities. They can register with a friend or play as a single as their schedules allow.
“Golf is a social sport at its core and provides a great way to meet new friends, something I can personally attest to as a Spark Golf member, myself,” said Todd Triplett, Senior Vice President, GolfNow. “This partnership will provide even more opportunities for GolfNow users and more reasons to get out and play!”
“Spark Golf was created for golfers of all skill levels who value fun, community and light-hearted competition,” said Charlie Klaus, Co-Founder, Spark Golf. “We’re excited to partner with GolfNow to promote our more social and relaxed version of golf, which will drive more rounds to our mutual golf course partners.”
The partnership with Spark Golf builds on other GolfNow efforts to promote the social aspects of golf, including its popular GolfNow Compete app. Rory McIlroy helped launch GolfNow Compete in 2022 and, like Spark Golf, it was designed to make any round of golf more fun through connecting and competing with friends. The all-in-one app not only offers tools to help golfers play, navigate the course, keep stats and scores, but also offers features and games not available in any other app, promoting the social aspect of golf and keeping every golfer better engaged with the group.
