GolfNow supports Special Olympics with golfer ‘Round Up’ campaign throughout March

Golfers booking a round online in March via GolfNow or TeeOff can choose to “Round Up” their green fee to help get more athletes on the playing field

ORLANDO, Fla. (Feb. 27, 2025) – GolfNow and TeeOff, which comprise the world’s largest online marketplace for tee times, will encourage the millions of golfers visiting their websites in March to “round up” for Special Olympics, the largest sports organization for people with intellectual disabilities.

As part of their Better Together community impact initiative, the March campaign will include a “Round-Up” offer on both GolfNow and TeeOff tee-time booking websites and mobile apps. Anyone booking tee times on GolfNow or TeeOff in March will be provided the opportunity to round up the total cost of the reservation to an even-dollar figure. For example, if the cost of a tee time totals $37.55, the golfer can elect to round up the cost to $38, with the additional $0.45 helping GolfNow and TeeOff support Special Olympics.

The March initiative will follow a successful 2024 GolfNow round-up campaign that raised more than $100,000 for Special Olympics. The cash donation was supplemented by employee volunteerism and other in-kind donations by GolfNow and its corporate partner, NBC Sports, to Special Olympics Programs in Connecticut, Minnesota and Florida.

Special Olympics provides year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports, giving their athletes continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, and experience the joy of participation.

In addition to the 24/7 online tee-time marketplace, GolfNow and TeeOff also are the golf industry’s leading providers of golf course operations software and services, serving nearly 10,000 courses worldwide. In the two years since its conception, the round-up campaign concept has collectively raised more than $4 million for various charities.

“The generosity of our golfers continues to shine through our round-up campaigns,” said Todd Triplett, Senior Vice President, GolfNow. “We’re proud of the positive impact that’s been made through our Better Together initiative for organizations like Special Olympics and we’re honored to again help make a difference for these extraordinary athletes.”
