LOS ANGELES, CA—College Golf Experience (CGX), the leading college golf camp platform exclusively endorsed by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA), announces a Canadian partnership in 2025 with the Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour (MJT). As part of this collaboration, CGX will bring three new Canada Exposure Camps and three Tournament Prep Camps in association with MJT events, giving Canadian junior golfers the rare opportunity to connect with U.S. College Coaches in their home country.
"Our collaboration with College Golf Experience (CGX) is a testament to MJT’s unwavering commitment to preparing our players for success beyond junior golf," said Trent Matson, National Operations Director of MJT. "Through this partnership, we are equipping young athletes and their families with invaluable insights, direct exposure to College Coaches, and the tools they need to navigate the collegiate golf pathway with confidence. By teaming up with CGX, we’re not just opening doors—we’re helping shape the future of aspiring collegiate golfers across Canada."

“The growth of competitive junior golf in Canada has led to more players than ever seeking – and deserving – opportunities to play college golf in the U.S.,” said CGX CEO Joshua Jacobs. “Traditionally, Canadian players and their families must travel internationally or qualify for major events just for a chance to be seen by College Coaches. These camps change the model entirely – bringing the coaches to the players and parents, allowing for meaningful dialogue about college golf and the recruiting process.”

Typically, junior golfers and their parents must wait until June 15, before their Grade 11 school year, to communicate directly with college coaches. The only NCAA exception is in a camp environment.
Canadian junior golfers and parents have a unique opportunity to meet one-on-one with U.S. Collegiate Coaches, gain insight into college golf and the recruiting process through educational seminars, participate in college golf practice sessions featuring drills and pressure situations coaches put their teams through, experience course management and strategy lessons through on-course engagement with college coaches during college golf practice and tournament-style rounds, and receive real-time feedback from coaches.
