New video series showcases changemakers driving accessibility and inclusion for

Monterey, Calif. – Youth on Course – the nonprofit organization providing youth with access to life-changing opportunities through golf – is proud to expand its partnership with one of the sport’s leading voices. Since becoming a Youth on Course Ambassador in 2022, Steele has played a pivotal role in championing accessibility and diversity in golf, and this renewed collaboration will further amplify those efforts beginning with the launch of Advocates for Access, a new video series showcasing Youth on Course changemakers driving meaningful progress in the game. The first edition launches today and features Roger Steele.

Advocates for Access is an inspiring video series highlighting influential voices championing Youth on Course’s mission - providing access to the sport. In the premiere edition, Steele shares his journey and passion for making golf accessible to all. Through authentic storytelling and lived experiences, Steele explores the transformative power of golf, the importance of community, and the critical role of access in shaping the future of the sport. Each episode delves into a unique aspect of Youth on Course’s impact, offering viewers an inside look at how the organization breaks down financial barriers and changes lives.

“I’ve always believed that golf has the power to change lives, but only if we create access for those who have traditionally been left out,” said Steele. “Youth on Course is doing the work to make that happen, and I’m honored to continue pushing this mission forward through storytelling.”

Beyond enhanced storytelling, Steele will expand his involvement as a Youth on Course ambassador by hosting additional clinics and events with members and alumni, sharing his unique view on the sport as both a competitor and creator. His passion for the sport and its impact on youth is well known, evidenced by his annual participation in the Youth on Course 100 Hole Hike, an international fundraising initiative where golfers walk and play 100 holes in a single day to raise funds for youth to play golf for $5 or less. He will also offer an experience for supporters to bid on at the 2025 Youth on Course auction.

“Roger’s impact as an ambassador over the last few years has been remarkable,” said Youth on Course CMO Steven Martin. “His passion for the sport and his ability to connect with young golfers make him an invaluable partner. Through this expanded partnership, we’re continuing to elevate access and opportunity for the next generation.”

As Youth on Course continues to expand its reach, Steele’s involvement remains a cornerstone of its efforts to create lasting change. Together, they are ensuring that golf is not only more accessible but also a game that truly reflects the diversity and potential of the next generation — on and off the course.
