“I’m happiest when I'm helping people play better golf, and I have an endless curiosity to learn as much as I possibly can about teaching the game, knowing that it’s going to help others improve too,” said Wisinski at the Home of the PGA of America in Frisco, Texas. “I’m in a pursuit of continuous education and it's an honor to now be a part of a select group of PGA Master Professionals. It feels very special and I’m extremely proud.”

The PGA Master Professional program was established in 1969 to recognize PGA of America Members who make a significant effort to improve as golf professionals and maintain the highest degree of excellence for themselves and their operations. The curriculum is designed to ensure golf professionals are prepared to meet the growing demands of the marketplace within the Executive Management, Golf Operations and Teaching and Coaching Designations.

The program is available to those with at least 10 years of PGA of America Membership along with having achieved advanced certification through the PGA Specialized and Certified Professional Programs. The curriculum includes an extensive project based on the specific certification previously acquired by the PGA of America Golf Professional. PGA Master Professional status is earned upon successful completion of the project’s presentation.

A PGA of America Member since 2010, Wisinski grew up around the game. When he was a year old, his parents, Jim and Trudy, opened Tee-2-Green Golf Shop in Grand Rapids, Michigan, which they have operated for over 41 years. Wisinksi grew up in the shop, learning how to change grips on golf clubs at just eight years old.

Wisinski competed for the University of Michigan golf team, where he lettered four times and graduated in 2006 with a bachelor’s degree in sports management and communication.

Soon after college, Wisinki followed in the “family business.” He joined the PGA Professional Golf Management Program (PGM) in 2006 and worked as an Assistant Professional at facilities in the Grand Rapids metropolitan area, including The Highlands Golf Club (2006), Pilgrim’s Run Golf Club (2008) and The Golf Club At Thornapple Pointe (2010).

Upon becoming a Member of the PGA of America, he became Manager of Tee-2-Green until 2015, when he was hired by Stonewater Country Club as First Assistant Professional. In 2017, he made the move to Kent Country Club as the First Assistant Professional and was promoted to Director of Instruction in 2020.

Wisinski is a four-time Michigan Section PGA award recipient, most recently earning both the 2025 Michigan PGA Teacher & Coach of the Year and Professional Development awards. He earned the Section’s Player Development Award in 2023 and was honored as Michigan PGA Assistant Professional of the Year in 2020. Additionally, he was named to the 2024-25 Golf Digest Best Teachers in Every State” list for Michigan.

With over two decades of golf instruction experience, Wisinski incorporates the industry’s latest technology with his students, including TrackMan, Sportsbox AI 3D, among others, and is certified by the Titleist Performance Institute, Sportsbox AI and GolfForever.

Wisinski resides in Grand Rapids with his wife Jolene and their two children.
