The Club at Weston Hills unveils major multi-million dollar transformation

Arcis Golf brings new life, excitement to leading South Florida property

DALLAS (April 29, 2025) Arcis Golf’s ongoing transformation of The Club at Weston Hills has taken another major step with the dramatic renovation of the property’s clubhouse, bar and restaurant. Since assuming operation of The Club at Weston Hills nearly seven years ago, Arcis Golf has invested nearly $10 million in the property, which is considered a pre-eminent luxury private club in Florida’s Broward County.

The 400-acre campus—the largest parcel of land in the affluent city of Weston—is home to a stunning 50,000-square-foot clubhouse, two 18-hole championship golf courses, private event spaces, a racquet and aquatics complex, and a fitness center, all providing the ultimate club experience for this family-oriented property.

“Our continuing investment in The Club at Weston Hills has positioned it as the region's most desirable, private lifestyle club,” said Blake Walker, Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Arcis Golf. “The vast property offers extensive amenities for members, guests, families, and friends to live, connect, and play and is regarded as an essential cornerstone of this dynamic and growing community. It is, indeed, a bright new era for The Club at Weston Hills.”

Arcis Golf is a premier owner and operator of private, resort, and daily fee golf and country clubs in the United States, committed to building a best-in-class leadership team that is reinventing the contemporary club experience, making it more relevant to the lifestyles of today’s consumer. Notably, the Weston Hills property, located 30 miles north of Miami, is one of the largest clubs in the diverse Arcis Golf portfolio of nearly 70 facilities across the country.

Members and guests entering the club are now welcomed by a newly designed pre-function area featuring fresh and light finishes with wood flooring. The existing domed atrium has been highlighted with gold trim and additional lighting that creates a beautiful backdrop.

The centerpiece of the clubhouse is the Royal Palm Ballroom, an elegant space that provides a spectacular setting for events and celebrations amidst a backdrop of natural beauty. Floor-to-ceiling windows offer stunning views of the golf courses and water features. Additional features such as wooden floors, large mirrors, and botanical artwork contribute to the elegant, understated décor.

The bar and restaurant—now named Table Eighty-Nine—have received a stunning makeover with expanded seating and contemporary décor, including half-round booths that face the golf course and patio. The bar area has been revitalized with new tables and banquettes, all upholstered in vibrant colors. A mega, 80-inch television was added, perfect for movie and sporting events. The bar is stocked with a curated wine list, craft cocktails, and numerous beer options.

An intimate private dining space, located directly off the restaurant, accommodates up to a dozen people for private functions or meetings, while the outdoor patio, now refreshed with new furniture and plantings, provides members with a delightful backdrop for dining and drinks overlooking the golf course.

The Table Eighty-Nine menu is highlighted by fresh seafood from the Florida Keys, while lovers of steak and homemade pasta will find an array of options to satisfy the most discerning palate. Drawing on local farmers and purveyors for fresh, seasonal produce, the talented kitchen team has made the restaurant a staple for member dining. Sunday and holiday brunches are extremely popular with members and their families year-round.

Further, a full slate of year-round programming—from wine and culinary events to swim lessons, kite flying, and holiday festivities—promises to entertain all age groups and interests.

This most recent transformation at the club follows a significant investment by Arcis Golf in the 7,069-yard Tour Course, which was completely renovated by Fry/Straka Global Golf Course Design. New bunkering, the installation of Celebration Bermudagrass on all fairways, and enhancements to the Weston Academy driving range were included.

The Tour Course, which has hosted The Honda Classic, the Dan Marino Celebrity Invitational, and the LPGA Chrysler Plymouth Tournament of Champions, will continue to stage various USGA qualifiers and prestigious local events. The club’s second layout - the Players Course - was also designed by Robert Trent Jones II Golf Course Architects and plays to 7,272 yards from the championship tees.

Members also enjoy a tennis facility that features eight Har-Tru tennis courts, under new stadium lighting, plus a heated, outdoor swimming pool, in addition to active men’s and women’s golf associations. The addition of six pickleball courts is on the horizon for later this year.

Moreover, the nearby neighborhood boasts resort-style living in beautiful lakefront homes with breathtaking views of shimmering lakes and golf courses. Weston is listed by Money Magazine among the "Best Places to Live in America" and has been named "The Best Place to Live in Florida."

An industry leader in providing inventive programming and unrivaled lifestyle amenities that complement exceptional golf offerings, Arcis Golf has invested more than $125 million in the past four years on property upgrades, new amenities, personnel, training, and systems to create extraordinary experiences and forge emotional connections with members and guests. The company has received numerous honors, including a National Golf Foundation “2025 Top 100 Businesses in Golf.”
