CBS Sports outlines 2025 PGA Championship plans, led by multiplatform coverage and technology enhancements from Quail Hollow Club

CBS Sports is set to broadcast the PGA Championship for the 35th consecutive year and 42nd time overall, taking place at Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, N.C., May 15-18. Live multiplatform coverage will be led by the third and final rounds airing from 1:00-7:00 p.m. ET each day on Saturday, May 17 and Sunday, May 18on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+.

For the 35th consecutive year, Jim Nantz will host the network’s coverage from the 18th tower, sitting alongside lead analyst Trevor Immelman. CBS Sports’ full announcer lineup:

In partnership with the PGA of America, CBS Sports and ESPN once again will provide live, wire-to-wire coverage of the PGA Championship Thursday through Sunday, with CBS Sports leading overall production efforts. Coverage will include the introduction of a dynamic augmented reality enhancement on the par-4 14th hole, delivering real-time analytics and immersive visuals using 5G technology in partnership with T-Mobile. CBS Sports Network & CBS Sports Digital: PGA Championship Programming
CBS Sports Network and CBS Sports’ Digital platforms will provide extensive shoulder programming surrounding the PGA Championship:

  • PGA Championship Clubhouse Report will recap each round (Thursday-Sunday, 8:00-9:00 PM, ET), with highlights, analysis and player interviews. Kelly Tilghman hosts and will be joined by Roger SteeleMichael BreedBrian Crowell and Hally Leadbetter
  • CBS Sports Network will re-air the third and final-round broadcasts on Sunday (May 18), from 6:00-10:00 a.m. ET (third round), and 9:00 p.m.-3:00 a.m. ET (final round).
  • CBS Sports Network will air PGA Championship archival shows Monday-Wednesday, May 12-14, featuring memorable highlights from previous editions of the tournament.
  • Beginning Monday, May 12, CBS Sports HQ will feature nearly 50 hours of coverage. Rick Gehman and Patrick McDonald will lead on-site coverage along with Shane Bacon, Breed, Mark Immelman and Jason Sobel.
  • The Golf on CBS Preview Show will stream Tuesday on the @GolfonCBS YouTube page, and CBS Sports’ podcast EARLY WEDGE will appear on CBS Sports Network at Noon ET on Wednesday, May 14 and at 1 p.m. ET on Thursday-Friday, May 15-16 to complement daily episodes and post-round recaps.
