Epson Tour announces renewed partnership with City of Indian Wells for 2025 season finale

The Epson Tour Championship at Indian Wells is set to return to the Indian Wells Golf Resort in October of 2025, this time playing on the Celebrity Course

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., May 22, 2025 – The Epson Tour announced today that the City of Indian Wells extended its presenting sponsorship of the Epson Tour Championship at Indian Wells through 2026. This will be the tournament’s second playing at Indian Wells Golf Resort after announcing the partnership at the beginning of the 2024 season.

While the first playing of the tournament was on the Players Course, the 2025 edition will be on the Celebrity Course, offering a new challenge for the field of 108 athletes. The newly renovated Players Course is set to return as the host facility for 2026.

The Epson Tour Championship at Indian Wells will be contested from October 2-5, 2025, with athletes playing for a $250,000 purse. The winner will take home $37,500 and 650 points towards the Race for the Card, the most points awarded all season.

"After an incredibly successful 2024 Epson Tour Championship, we are excited to announce a return to the City of Indian Wells for the 2025 and 2026 Epson Tour Championships,” said Jody Brothers, Chief Business and Operating Officer of the Epson Tour. “Epson, the City of Indian Wells, and their residents, have all done a tremendous job in elevating our season finale, and we’re excited to see what the future brings.”

The City of Indian Wells is used to hosting professional sporting events. In early March, the city hosts the BNP Paribas Open, one of the largest events of the year in tennis. The city of just over 5,000 residents welcomes over 504,000 spectators to their home to fill the stadiums at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden.

As part of its partnership with the City of Indian Wells, the Epson Tour is offering exclusive benefits to Indian Wells residents, including access to a dedicated viewing deck on the 18th green, a welcome party, a Golf Clinic with the Pros, discounted offerings on general admission and hospitality ticket packages and Pro-Am playing opportunities. "We are incredibly proud to continue our partnership in hosting the Epson Tour Championships at the Indian Wells Golf Resort,” said Indian Wells Mayor Bruce Whitman. “This event not only showcases our world-class facilities but also brings our community together in celebration of excellence in women's golf. Our commitment to supporting such prestigious tournaments reflects the pride we have in our city and our dedication to fostering a vibrant, inclusive community.”

During the first edition of the Epson Tour Championship at Indian Wells, 15 Epson Tour members earned their LPGA Tour cards for the first time in the Tour’s history. The new tournament location in 2024 paired with the news of five additional LPGA Tour cards being awarded, an increase from the 10 that were awarded in 2023. Both initiatives will continue for the 2025 playing, elevating the event to an even higher importance than in previous seasons.

“We’re proud to return to Indian Wells, right here in our home state, to celebrate our shared commitment to investing in women’s sports and elevating these exceptional athletes. The city represents the energy and excellence we stand for, and we couldn’t be more excited to bring our customers back to the heart of it all,” said Kendra Jones, Chief Legal and Sustainability Officer for Epson in the Americas.

Following the prestigious tournament, 15 athletes will move on from the Epson Tour and earn LPGA membership for the 2026 season. The graduation will also be held at the Indian Wells Golf Resort.
