Defending champion Lilia Vu, past champions Lexi Thompson, Brooke Henderson, Mirim Lee and Leona Maguire headline early commitments for the 2025 Meijer LPGA Classic for Simply Give

Two-time major champion Brittany Lincicome; Wake Forest All-American and 2025 Inkster Award Winner Carolina Lopez-Chacarra to compete as sponsor invitations

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Last year’s Meijer LPGA Classic for Simply Give provided a dramatic three-hole playoff finish where Lilia Vucaptured her first Meijer LPGA Classic for Simply Give title and fifth LPGA Tour victory overall over 2015 champion Lexi Thompson.

The 2025 Meijer LPGA Classic, taking place June 12-15 at Blythefield Country Club, will feature the return of Vu and Thompson, along with fellow past champions Brooke Henderson, Mirim Lee and Leona Maguire.

Tournament officials also announced today that two-time major champion Brittany Lincicome and 2025 Inkster Award winner and Wake Forest All-American Carolina Lopez-Chacarra have accepted sponsor invitations to be part of the 144-player field.

Vu, a two-time major champion, 2023 LPGA Tour Player of the Year and former World No. 1, secured her fifth LPGA Tour win via a three-hole playoff over Grace Kim and Lexi Thompson at the 2024 Meijer LPGA Classic for Simply Give. She has a season-best second place finish in 2025 at the Ford Championship.

Thompson, a 2015 Meijer LPGA Classic for Simply Give champion, is returning in 2025 after announcing her plans to step away from full-time competitive golf in 2024. She has two top-15 finishes in four starts in 2025, including a T14 at the Chevron Championship.

Henderson, a two-time Meijer LPGA Classic for Simply Give winner and a 13-time LPGA Tour winner, has recorded three top-15 finishes in 25 in 10 events, including a T9 finish at the T-Mobile Match Play.

Lee, the 2014 Meijer Classic for Simply Give winner, is a four-time winner on the LPGA Tour, including the 2020 ANA Inspiration (now the Chevron Championship). She is returning to LPGA Tour competition at the Meijer LPGA Classic, making her first start since the 2023 U.S. Women’s Open.

Maguire, the 2023 Meijer LPGA Classic for Simply Give winner, is a two-time winner on the LPGA Tour. She has three top-25 finishes in 2025, with a best ninth place finish at the season-opening Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions.

Lincicome, a two-time major champion and a fan-favorite on the LPGA Tour, announced in 2024 that she is stepping away from full-time competitive golf and is playing a limited schedule in 2025. She will be returning to one of her favorite events on the LPGA Tour as a sponsor exemption.

Lopez-Chacarra, a graduating senior at Wake Forest University and a three-time All-American, will compete as a sponsor invitation as a result of winning the 2025 Juli Inkster Award presented by Workday, recognizing the highest-ranked NCAA Division I female golfer in her final year of eligibility. Hall-of-Famer Juli Inkster also will be on-site during the week for the 2025 Meijer LPGA Classic for Simply Give.

Celebrating its 11th year, the Meijer LPGA Classic for Simply Give continues to be a memorable and affordable event for the entire family. General admission tickets are $10 a day, and children 17 and under with a ticketed adult are free. Tickets and hospitality passes for the 2025 tournament are available for purchase at meijerlpgaclassic.com, including the all-new Kraft Heinz Pavilion and the award-winning J. Brewer’s and Frederik’s hospitality experiences.

In addition to the general admission tickets at $10 per day, tournament-long tickets (valid Thursday through Sunday) are available for $25 per person. Grand Taste Concessions are located throughout the course and sell various food and beverage items, all for $4 or less. Discovery Land will also return as a free destination for children and families.

The previous 10 tournaments generated more than $12 million to feed families across the Midwest through the retailer’s Simply Give program, and the Meijer LPGA Classic has a goal of raising $1.3 million for Simply Give via the 2025 event.

In celebration of Father’s Day, on Sunday, June 15, fathers will be granted free general admission to the course. Military personnel (active, retired, reserve, veteran) and a plus one will also be granted free general admission all four days of tournament play with proper identification.
