MIDLAND, Mich., June 17, 2025 – Tournament officials announced the final field and team pairings for the 2025 Dow Championship, which will take place June 23–29 at Midland Country Club. Now in its sixth year, the tournament will feature many of the world’s top LPGA players, alongside a week of community programming and family-focused events.
The first round will begin on Thursday, June 26, with a total of 72 two-woman teams will compete in a 72-hole stroke play format, alternating between foursomes (alternate shot) and four-ball (best ball) rounds. With a $3.3 million purse, the Dow Championship ranks among the top five non-major events on the LPGA Tour. Additional Tournament Week Events:
- Rock the Block (Free): Downtown Midland will host the official tournament kickoff event on Monday, June 23, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The event will include a DJ, line dancing, complimentary food vouchers, and adoptable animals from the Midland Humane Society and Humane Animal Treatment Society.
- First Tee Junior Clinic Presented by Wilson (Free): Open to children ages 3–18, the Junior Clinic will take place at Currie Golf Course on Tuesday, June 24. Children ages 3–6 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Registration is available at https://dowchampionship.com/spectator-information.
- Opening Ceremony (Free with admission): Marking the official start of tournament play, the Dow Championship Opening Ceremony will be held on Thursday, June 26, at 6:45 AM, immediately prior to the first tee time.
- Yoga on the Green Presented by MyMichigan Health ($5): Scheduled for Saturday, June 28 at 8:00 AM at Midland Country Club, this 45-minute yoga class includes a healthy snack and admission to Saturday’s round of the tournament. Registration is available at https://dowchampionship.com/tickets.
- STEM Center Presented by Palmer Holland (Free with admission): Open at Midland Country Club from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Thursday, June 26 through Sunday, June 29, this interactive space offers hands-on activities in science, technology, engineering, and math, with themes including golf, robotics, hockey, tennis, and racing.
