Ryan Dawson joins as Director of Club Operations, bringing elevated service and hospitality oversight across the entire club experience, while Spencer Scheeler steps in as Director of Golf, leading all course operations to deliver an exceptional private golf experience for members.
Dawson brings over a decade of distinguished leadership in luxury hospitality to Loraloma. He has held instrumental positions at acclaimed properties such as Austin Country Club, Montage Resorts, and the Ritz-Carlton Lake Tahoe, where he set the standard for culinary and operational excellence. In addition, Dawson served as Director of Operations for Ross Perot’s private hospitality division in Dallas, overseeing a portfolio of exclusive properties for more than five years. Throughout his tenure, Dawson has earned a reputation for delivering world-class guest experiences, fostering empowered team cultures, and upholding the highest standards of service across every facet of club operations.
Scheeler brings more than a decade of PGA-certified leadership in luxury golf operations, player development, and event execution to the Texas Hill Country as Loraloma Private Club & Estates’ new Director of Golf. Most recently serving as Senior Head Golf Professional at The Landings Golf & Athletic Club in Savannah, Georgia, Scheeler oversaw operations across its six championship courses, leading large-scale tournament programming and driving best-in-class course operations. His work at The Landings was preceded by key roles at distinguished clubs such as the premier Country Club of Florida and historic Apawamis Club in New York, as well as global coaching experience with elite junior golfers in Bangkok, Thailand. Scheeler holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Ferris State University’s Professional Golf Management program, is a PGA Certified Professional in Golf Operations, and remains an active player, most recently competing in the Georgia PGA Section.
