Ashley Offermann, a seasoned fundraiser and development leader with more than two decades of experience, joins Youth on Course at a transformative moment in the organization's continued growth. Most recently, as Senior Associate Athletic Director at Cal Poly, Offermann spearheaded all development efforts for the Division I program, securing more than $120 million in philanthropic support. His leadership was particularly instrumental in elevating Cal Poly Golf, with over $20 million raised to fund the Mustang Golf Academy, endowing 10.5M scholarships, supporting international team travel and ensuring robust operating resources.

“We are excited to welcome Ashley as our Chief Development Officer,” said Adam Heieck, CEO of Youth on Course. “His commitment to enriching the lives of our members while expanding access to the sport aligns directly with our mission. As Youth on Course enters its next phase of growth, strong fundraising leadership is essential, and Ashley brings the experience and proven ability to build the resources that will drive our impact forward.”

Prior to Cal Poly, Offermann held executive roles in private equity and resort development, including with Star Ventures and Star Resorts, where he optimized portfolios and raised capital for high-impact projects. He began his career in advancement with Pennington & Company, managing multi-million-dollar campaigns for national fraternal organizations.

“It is a privilege to join Youth on Course and to be trusted with the role as Chief Development Officer,” said Offermann. “This organization is redefining youth access to golf while also creating pathways to education, mentorship, and leadership while providing the lessons only sport can teach - competition, discipline, commitment, sportsmanship and confidence. I look forward to helping expand that reach so that even more young people can benefit from the opportunities Youth on Course provides.”

Youth on Course is more than a pathway into golf. It's a bridge to education, mentorship and personal growth. Since its founding in 2006, the organization has lowered the barrier of entry for young golfers and now boasts more than 385,000 current members while offering golf rounds for $5 or less through its expanded network across all of the United States, Canada, and Australia. To date, Youth on Course has subsidized members playing more than 5 million rounds.

Youth on Course members are advancing across all levels of the sport, earning college scholarships, competing on the AJGA and Underrated Tours, representing the inaugural USGA U.S. National Development Team, and playing at collegiate programs nationwide. Beyond competition, members gain access to additional opportunities through initiatives such as the Leadership Council, Careers on Course, and the Alumni Network.

With Offermann leading the development strategy, Youth on Course is positioned to expand its impact and continue ensuring that financial barriers do not prevent youth from accessing golf and the opportunities connected to it.
