SOUTH ELEUTHERA, Bahamas – Jack’s Bay, a 1,200-acre private club and residential community on the southern end of Eleuthera, announces the appointment of Richard Howard, CCM, as General Manager. Howard will direct the strategic vision for the development as it enters a pivotal phase of growth, overseeing operations ahead of its phase I opening in fall 2025.
In this role, Howard will shape the future direction of the club community and oversee day-to-day operations, which encompasses residential offerings including the Atlantic Club Cottages and Playground Residences, the Tiger Woods’ TGR Design “Playground Course” and Jack Nicklaus Heritage™ Course, spa and fitness offerings including racquet sports, the Atlantic Clubhouse, multiple dining concepts, and ocean and land adventures.

Howard brings over 25 years of experience in private club and golf course management to Jack’s Bay, and he is known for his collaborative leadership style, creativity and innovation, and aligning guest services with long-term strategic plans. Most recently, he served as COO/GM of Waialae Country Club in Honolulu, one of Hawaii’s most exclusive private clubs and home to the PGA TOUR’s Sony Open.
In addition to golf, Jack’s Bay’s vast natural wonders include four miles of pristine pink sand beaches, hidden caves, blue holes, a private meditation lake, vibrant coral reefs, a sea turtle sanctuary, and two private islands. The 2025 residential collection includes four-bedroom or six-bedroom fully furnished Atlantic Club Cottages and two-bedroom, three-bedroom or four-bedroom Playground Residences.
