The International Woman Award, sponsored by Perry Ellis, is presented to a woman working outside of the UK who has made a significant contribution to the part of industry in which they work.  Nominations will be accepted for any discipline and should detail their achievements in the last year and across their career. The judges are looking for women who demonstrate leadership and use their profile to elevate women in their region.

“It is incredibly important that we look beyond our borders to learn from the successful women working in golf outside of the UK,” comments founder of the Women in Golf Awards, Nicole Wheatley,  “The previous winners are incredible women who have enjoyed fantastic careers and have certainly inspired me. It has been a privilege to share their stories, and I am looking forward to learning about this year’s nominees.”

On November 27th women - and men - from across the industry will be heading to Foxhills in Surrey, UK to congratulate the winners of this year’s Women in Golf Awards.  Nominations can be made on www.womeningolfawards.co.uk until midnight on September 30th.

About the Women in Golf Awards
The Women in Golf Awards is an annual event celebrating the significant contribution that women, past and present, continue to make to the golf industry.  The event was established by Nicole Wheatley and Ben Blackburn whose combined experience in the golf world led them to identify a need to create a platform that would connect, celebrate and inspire the industry.  The Awards bring together women at all stages of their careers, from every sector, showing the diverse nature of the roles women hold in the industry.  To join the ballot visit www.womeningolfawards.co.uk
