LPGA Collegiate Advancement Pathway (LCAP) ranking powered by WAGR® to debut Oct. 8

Official ranking system for the new program to launch tomorrow, update weekly on Wednesdays

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (Oct. 7, 2025) – In collaboration with the World Amateur Golf Ranking® / WAGR®, the LPGA Tour announced today that the official ranking system for the recently announced LPGA Collegiate Advancement Pathway (LCAP) will be made available tomorrow, Oct. 8.

The LCAP Ranking powered by WAGR will serve as the official ranking system for the program. The ranking will follow a two-year cycle, concluding with the NCAA Division I Women’s Golf Individual Championship, and will include results from collegiate and non-collegiate events recognized by WAGR. The ranking will update weekly each Wednesday through the 2026 NCAA Division I Women’s Golf Individual Championship.

To maintain eligibility for the pathway and its benefits, a player must maintain amateur status through the publication of the Final LCAP Ranking powered by WAGR. If a player turns professional, she will be removed from the LCAP Ranking powered by WAGR.

Announced in July, the newly developed program creates a direct route for top collegiate golfers to enter the LPGA’s system of professional tours. Epson Tour status will be awarded to the top 10 players on the Final LCAP Ranking powered by WAGR.
