CLEARWATER, FLORIDA (October 15, 2025) – With the second playing of the Skechers World Champions Cup supporting Shriners Children’s now less than two months away, the rosters for Team USA, Team International and Team Europe have been finalized.
Jason Caron earned the final roster spot for Team USA via the play-in position. Mark Hensby played his way onto Team International’s roster, and Alex Cejka landed Team Europe’s play-in position. Caron and Hensby will play in the event for the first time, while Cejka returns to play in the Skechers World Champions Cup supporting Shriners Children’s for a second time.
Each team has also named their vice captains for the second playing of the tournament, set to be contested December 4-7 at Feather Sound Country Club. Team USA captain Jim Furyk has chosen Steve Flesch and Billy Andrade. Team International captain Mike Weir has selected Ricardo Gonzalez and Charlie Wi, and Team Europe captain Darren Clarke has named Søren Kjeldsen and Jesper Parnevik.
The final spots for Team USA, Team International and Team Europe are play-in positions based on the Charles Schwab Cup standings at the end of the regular season, which concluded with last week’s SAS Championship. The vice captains for each team serve in a non-playing role.
The Skechers World Champions Cup supporting Shriners Children’s is a global team competition that will feature Team USA, Team International and Team Europe going head-to-head as they battle for international pride and global bragging rights. Each of the three teams is made up of six players, including a playing captain, as well as two non-playing vice captains.
Team USA will include Furyk, Stewart Cink, Jerry Kelly, Justin Leonard, Steve Stricker and Caron as players, and Flesch and Andrade as vice captains.
Team International will include Weir, Steven Alker, Ángel Cabrera, K.J. Choi, Y.E. Yang and Hensby as players, and Gonzalez and Wi as vice captains.
Team Europe will include Clarke, Thomas Bjørn, Miguel Angel Jiménez, Bernhard Langer, Colin Montgomerie and Cejka as players, and Kjeldsen and Parnevik as vice captains.
The 24 golfers that have been named to the teams for the 2025 Skechers World Champions Cup supporting Shriners Children's have combined for 239 tournament wins and 46 major championships across the PGA TOUR and PGA TOUR Champions, with a combined 90 Ryder Cup and Presidents Cup appearances.
Team USA
Jason Caron is in just his second season playing on the PGA TOUR Champions and has registered seven top-10 finishes in 20 events, including a second-place finish at the DICK’s Open and a playoff second at the Cologuard Classic. His consistent results throughout the season helped him to the 15th spot in the season-long Charles Schwab Cup standings. Baron has played 65 PGA TOUR events and serves as the PGA Head Golf Professional at Mill River Club in Oyster Bay, New York.
Steve Flesch is a four-time PGA TOUR winner who has also secured four tournament victories since joining the PGA TOUR Champions. This season, Flesch has registered six top-10 finishes in 23 starts, helping him to the 13th spot in the season-long Charles Schwab Cup standings.
Billy Andrade earned four victories during an extensive PGA TOUR career and also owns three PGA TOUR Champions victories. A Rhode Island native, Andrade won the 1986 NCAA Championship while at Wake Forest. He also played on the United States team that beat Great Britain & Ireland in the 1987 Walker Cup, with Montgomerie on the opposing squad. He will serve as a vice captain in the Skechers World Champions Cup supporting Shriners Children's for a second time.
Team International
Mark Hensby has secured five top-10 finishes on the PGA TOUR Champions circuit this season and won the Invited Celebrity Classic in 2023. The native of Australia won the PGA TOUR’s John Deere Classic in 2004 and was a member of the International team in the 2005 Presidents Cup. Hensby finished the season 23rd in the Charles Schwab Cup standings.
Ricardo Gonzalez is a four-time European Tour winner who also captured his first PGA TOUR Champions win last season at the Trophy Hassan II. Gonzalez was named the PGA TOUR Champions Rookie of the Year in 2024, a season in which he registered 16 top-25 finishes, including his victory and two runner-ups, in 25 events. A native of Argentina, he has three top-10 finishes in 23 PGA TOUR Champions events this season and finished the regular season 24th in the Charles Schwab Cup standings.
Charlie Wi is a seven-time winner on the Asian Tour who also won once on the European Tour. The South Korea native secured three top-10 finishes in 18 PGA TOUR Champions events this season.
Team Europe
Alex Cejka has won four times on the PGA TOUR Champions, with three of those victories coming in major championships – the Regions Tradition and KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship in 2021, and the Senior Open Championship in 2023. A native of Czechoslovakia and a German citizen, he also won once on the PGA TOUR and owns four European Tour victories. This season, he has eight top-10 finishes, including a victory in the season-ending SAS Championship and two runner-up results, and he finished 10th in the Charles Schwab Cup standings. Cejka returns to play in the Skechers World Champions Cup supporting Shriners Children’s for a second time.
Søren Kjeldsen has seven top-10 finishes in 14 events as a rookie on the PGA TOUR Champions this season, including consecutive runner-up finishes at the Principal Charity Classic and the American Family Insurance Championship. A native of Denmark, he has four European Tour victories and has finished top-10 in three of the four major championships. In December 2024, Kjeldsen won the PGA TOUR Champions Qualifying Tournament. He represented Denmark in the 2016 Rio Olympics.
Jesper Parnevik is a five-time PGA TOUR winner and has four European Tour victories on his resume. A native of Sweden, he has also won the Insperity Invitational on the PGA TOUR Champions. He represented Team Europe in the Ryder Cup in 1997, 1999 and 2002. Parnevik served as a vice captain for Team Europe during the 2023 Skechers World Champions Cup supporting Shriners Children’s.
