DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (Nov. 5, 2025) – The Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) and Ladies European Tour (LET) will expand their global collaboration in 2026 with the addition of the Aramco Championship at Shadow Creek Golf Club, a new co-sanctioned event in partnership with Golf Saudi.
Scheduled for March 30–April 5, 2026, the tournament will feature a $4 million purse and a 120-player field competing in a 72-hole stroke-play format, uniting top athletes from both tours on one of golf’s most celebrated stages. Building on the LET’s long-standing relationship with Golf Saudi through the PIF Global Series, the Aramco Championship marks the first time the LPGA will co-sanction an event within the series — a natural next step in strengthening the global platform for women’s golf.
“The introduction of the Aramco Championship at Shadow Creek is an important step, extending the PIF Global Series' reach and helping maximize its impact,” said Khalid Al Zamil, Senior Vice President of Corporate Communications at Aramco. “Building on its rich history of enabling sport, Aramco is incredibly proud to deepen our partnership with Golf Saudi to further empower female players and create new opportunities to inspire the next generation of talent."
“The Aramco Championship, part of the PIF Global Series, at Shadow Creek reflects exactly where we’re headed in building the global schedule for our tour,” said Craig Kessler, LPGA commissioner. “We often talk about routing, courses and purses — and this event checks every box: a spectacular West Coast setting, an iconic course and a purse that continues our momentum in raising the bar for our athletes. We also recognize that partnerships like this — built on the LET’s longstanding collaboration with Golf Saudi and PIF — can help strengthen the women’s game on a global scale and elevate opportunities for our athletes.”
The event will be part of the LET’s 2026 PIF Global Series, which features four additional tournaments on the 2026 LET schedule in Riyadh, Korea, the United Kingdom and China, also announced today.
“We’ve had a strong relationship with Golf Saudi since 2020, and this next chapter — welcoming the LPGA to join us at Shadow Creek — highlights how far we’ve come in strengthening the global platform for women’s golf,” said Marta Figueras-Dotti, Chair, LET Ltd. Board of Directors. “The Aramco Championship, which forms part of the PIF Global Series, will be a powerful example of collaboration and shared vision between our tours.”
“We’re proud to partner with the LPGA and LET to host this world-class event at Shadow Creek,” said Noah Alireza, CEO, Golf Saudi. “The Aramco Championship reflects our ongoing commitment to advancing women’s golf globally and creating opportunities that inspire future generations of players.”
The LPGA has competed at Shadow Creek Golf Club annually since 2021, most recently with the T-Mobile Match Play presented by MGM Rewards, a match-play format event. The addition of this PIF Global Series event extends the LPGA’s connection to one of golf’s most renowned venues and introduces a new full-field stroke-play opportunity for athletes from both tours—creating more global opportunities for women’s golf.
