Golf Channel announces new morning programming beginning January 2026

Morning shows debuting on Golf Channel in 2026 include ‘The Smylie Show’ with Smylie Kaufman, ‘Vanity Index Podcast’ with Chad Mumm and Wells Adams, and ‘The Big Swing with Jimmy Roberts’; Golf Channel’s returning morning shows feature ‘5 Clubs with Gary Williams’ and the ‘Golf Channel Podcast with Rex and Lav’

STAMFORD, Conn. – Nov. 13, 2025 – Golf Channel today announced its 2026 morning programming schedule, featuring a mix of new shows and returning fan-favorites which explore and analyze the golf world from all angles and perspectives.

New morning programming on Golf Channel is highlighted by on-course reporter Smylie Kaufman bringing his popular show and podcast, The Smylie Show, to Golf Channel on Wednesdays at 9 a.m. ET.

Full Swing executive producer and Pro Shop President Chad Mumm, alongside Bachelor Nation favorite Wells Adams, explore the intersection of golf and entertainment with Vanity Index Podcast on Wednesday at 10 a.m. ET. Additionally, 16-time Emmy Award winner Jimmy Roberts’ new program, The Big Swing with Jimmy Roberts, which takes viewers inside the new golf economy, debuts Tuesdays at 7 a.m. ET.

Golf Channel’s morning slate will be anchored by the return of 5 Clubs with Gary Williams Monday-Wednesday at 8 a.m. ET, as well as the Golf Channel Podcast with Rex and Lav on Mondays at 9 a.m. ET.

The full morning programming lineup will begin the week of Jan. 12, 2026.

Hosted by long-time Golf Channel personality Gary Williams, 5 Clubs with Gary Williams returns to air on Golf Channel Monday-Wednesday at 8 a.m. ET after debuting on the network in January 2025.

5 Clubs with Gary Williams features Williams being joined by contributors of the 5 Clubs team, including former PGA TOUR players and analysts Johnson Wagner and Brendan De Jonge, Emmy-nominated broadcaster and golf enthusiast Jay Bilas, renowned golf architect Gil Hanse, broadcaster and former collegiate golfer Emma Carpenter, and SiriusXM PGA TOUR Radio’s Taylor Zarzour, to talk about the topics that matter most to golf fans.

The popular Golf Channel Podcast with Rex and Lav – hosted by GolfChannel.com senior writers Rex Hoggard and Ryan Lavner – will return to air on Golf Channel on Mondays at 9 a.m. ET.

The Smylie Show will make its Golf Channel debut in 2026 on Wednesdays at 9 a.m. ET.

Hosted by PGA TOUR winner and on-course reporter Smylie Kaufman alongside co-host Charlie Hulme, the show delivers an in-depth understanding of how the game is played at its highest levels via smart analysis, on-course storytelling, and conversations with Tour pros.
