LPGA announces new multi-year media partnership with U-Next to stream exclusive coverage in Japan starting in 2026

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (Nov. 18, 2025) – The Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) today announced a new landmark multi-year media partnership with U-NEXT that will significantly expand the Tour’s presence in one of its most passionate and influential fan bases: Japan.

U-NEXT will become the exclusive live-streaming home of the LPGA Tour and all five women’s major championships in Japan beginning in 2026. This represents the largest international streaming partnership in LPGA history and positions U-NEXT as the single destination for premier golf content – men’s and women’s – in Japan.

“As we close a record-breaking season that’s already seen six different Japanese winners, it’s fitting to announce the largest international streaming partnership in LPGA history with U-NEXT,” LPGA Commissioner Craig Kessler said. “This partnership will allow us to expand our reach and deepen our connection with fans across Japan, while showcasing the incredible talent—Japanese and global—competing on the LPGA Tour. We’re thrilled to partner with U-NEXT as we continue to grow women’s professional golf in Japan and around the world.”

Beginning next season, U-NEXT will stream all LPGA tournaments in Japan, joining a lineup that already includes the four men’s major championships, the PGA TOUR, the JLPGA Tour, the DP World Tour, the Ladies European Tour (LET), the Asian Tour, and TGL. The company will also introduce the World Golf Pack, a new premium subscription plan offering comprehensive access to global golf.

“We are incredibly honored to partner with the LPGA, which not only operates the world's leading tour but is also the longest-running professional women's sports organization in the United States,” said Tenshin Tsutsumi, President of U-NEXT, Inc. “In recent years, we have seen a wave of talented and popular players from Japan take on the global stage. We are fully committed to delivering their stories in the most engaging way possible. With this partnership, nearly all of the world's major golf tours and tournaments will be available on U-NEXT. We see this as a beginning and hope to contribute to the further development of golf.”

This agreement marks a major step forward in the LPGA’s commitment to grow women’s golf worldwide—expanding reach, deepening access, and delivering richer storytelling to fans across one of the sport’s most important markets.
