Charleston, S.C. (December 1, 2025) — The National Golf Course Owners Association (NGCOA) is pleased to announce that Sir Nick Faldo, unquestionably the most successful European golfer in history, will appear as a special guest during Golf Business Conference 2026 (GBC26). On the evening of Monday, January 19 in Orlando, Sir Nick will take the Golf Business LIVE stage with NGCOA CEO Jay Karen for a fireside chat and candid conversation covering his unforgettable golf career, his current passions and aspirations, and his take on the future of the golf industry. Sir Nick Faldo’s illustrious career has secured his place as one of the all-time greats of golf: he holds three Open Championships, three Masters victories, and has represented Europe in the Ryder Cup a record eleven times. Alongside his on-course accomplishments, Sir Nick has also ventured into the world of golf course design boasting a portfolio of more than 40 courses across five continents and in 20 different countries. For more than 18 years, Sir Nick served as a television commentator and lead analyst with CBS.
One of Sir Nick’s most significant contributions to the sport is the creation of a charitable trust, The Faldo Series, aimed at developing tomorrow’s champions. Sir Nick is one of very few PGA Life Members. In 2009, he was awarded a knighthood by Queen Elizabeth II for his services to golf (the only British male golfer in the modern era to receive such an honor).
Golf Business LIVE was launched in April 2020, and each month since, the most prominent figures across and beyond the business of golf have been interviewed on the popular online broadcast. Golf Business LIVE covers key industry headlines and takes questions live on the air from an audience of owners, operators and golf facility decision makers.
All golf course and resort owners, operators and managers, and professionals from golf management companies are invited to register for GBC26. This event, the largest annual gathering of golf course owners and operators and NGCOA’s member meeting, will be held at the Rosen Centre Hotel in Orlando, Florida from January 19-21 (alongside the 2026 PGA Show). Visit GolfBusinessConference.com for the agenda, speakers, sponsors, registration, and hotel options.
Best pricing on registration and accommodations is available now. Non-member golf courses that join NGCOA before the end of 2025 will receive one (1) complimentary GBC26 registration. Golf courses that register four (4) or more staff will receive a $100 discount on each registration.
