Golf Channel announces multi-year media rights extension with DP World Tour

Golf Channel remains the TV home of the DP World Tour in the United States; 2026 schedule starts this Thursday with the Dubai Invitational; Nearly 600 hours of live DP World Tour coverage to air on Golf Channel annually

STAMFORD, Conn. – January 15, 2026 – Golf Channel and the DP World Tour have announced a multi-year extension of their media rights agreement, as Golf Channel remains the exclusive television home of the primary men’s professional golf tour of the European Tour group.

As part of the multi-year agreement which runs through 2030, Golf Channel will present live coverage of all DP World Tour events each year, representing nearly 600 hours of live tournament coverage annually on the network.

The International Swing of the 2026 DP World Tour season begins this week with the Dubai Invitational at Dubai Creek Resort, in Dubai, UAE. The field includes World Number Two Rory McIlroy, defending champion and World Number Three Tommy Fleetwood, and Major Champions Shane Lowry, Padraig Harrington, Francesco Molinari, Danny Willett and Patrick Reed. 

The DP World Tour schedule includes five Rolex Series events, beginning with the Hero Dubai Desert Classic (Jan. 22-25), the Genesis Scottish Open (July. 9-12), the BMW PGA Championship (Sept. 17-20), and two playoff events; the Abu Dhabi Championship (Nov. 5-8) and the DP World Tour Championship (Nov. 12-15), where the 2026 Race to Dubai Champion will be crowned. Click here for the full 2026 DP World Tour global schedule.
