MIAMI, FL —January 21, 2026 — Five Iron Golf, the global leader in golf and entertainment, will open its first Florida location in April with a 30,000-square-foot flagship venue in Coral Gables, marking the largest Five Iron Golf location in the United States. Designed as a multi-level destination, the venue brings together tour-level golf instruction delivered in partnership with the Jim McLean Golf School, full-length Strike Club bowling, dining, nightlife, and event programming in a single, integrated environment.
Instruction at the Coral Gables flagship will be delivered in partnership with the Jim McLean Golf School, integrating one of the most recognized teaching methodologies in the game into Five Iron’s technology-forward setting. Jim McLean–certified instructors will offer on-site lessons that combine McLean’s proven swing principles with advanced simulator technology and performance tools. The partnership also connects Five Iron Golf to the Jim McLean Golf School’s world headquarters at the historic Biltmore Golf Course—an 18-hole championship course located approximately 1.5 miles from the venue.
“Our approach to instruction combines the most comprehensive and respected teacher training system in the world. Our instructors are rigorously educated in advanced ball-flight and performance analysis using TrackMan, which has allowed us to develop an elite diagnostic process for identifying swing patterns with precision and efficiency, said Jim McLean, founder and CEO of Jim McLean Golf School. Five Iron’s Coral Gables flagship location creates a modern performance environment where our certified instructors can deliver elite instruction, combining advanced technology with a learning system that will help players at every level.”
The Coral Gables venue will feature 12 Trackman golf simulators, each equipped with integrated multi-camera swing capture and video playback, delivering precise club and ball data alongside visual feedback for instruction, league play, and competitive formats. Separately, the venue will debut Strike Club Bowling as a core entertainment offering, featuring 12 professional-grade, full-length bowling lanes—marking Strike Club’s first U.S. location to operate a full-length bowling experience within a multi-activity entertainment venue.
Beyond its core instruction and training offerings, the Coral Gables location will offer multiple ways to play and engage with the game. Golfers will have access to Five Iron Golf’s signature simulator-based experience, featuring a rotating lineup of world-renowned courses for both casual play and structured practice. The venue will also offer custom club fitting through Callaway Tour Fitting, women’s and junior golf programming, and seasonal league competition—where competitive formats meet social play—anchored by Five Iron Golf’s indoor league, the largest indoor golf league in the world.
Membership options will be available for golfers who play and practice regularly, including free daily golf, preferred booking, member amenities, and exclusive discounts on instruction, leagues, and food and beverage. To mark the opening, a limited number of Founding Memberships will be offered, providing early access ahead of the public launch, an introductory membership rate, a complimentary Swing Evaluation, a $100 venue credit, and exclusive founding member gear. Founding Membership availability is limited.
Beyond golf, Five Iron Golf Coral Gables is designed to operate as a full-scale social and entertainment destination. Strike Club Bowling anchors the venue’s nightlife and group-friendly offering, supported by a chef-driven food and beverage program built for lunch, happy hour, and late-night socializing. Multiple bars and gathering spaces throughout the venue support everything from after-work meetups to group celebrations and private events.
“Miami represents an important milestone for Five Iron Golf,” said Jared Solomon, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Five Iron Golf. “This flagship brings together everything that defines our brand—serious instruction, cutting-edge technology, hospitality, and entertainment—at a scale that reflects both the market opportunity and our long-term vision for growth.”
The Coral Gables location is owned and operated by franchise partners Peter McCormick, Alex Zega, and Matt Csillag, experienced Five Iron Golf operators with multiple locations across the U.S. and internationally. McCormick and Zega currently own and operate two Five Iron Golf venues in Louisville, Kentucky, with an additional downtown location opened in late 2025. Csillag is also a franchise partner in Nashville, which opened in late 2025, and Dubai, where Five Iron Golf operates one of the brand’s largest international venues, with another Dubai location slated to open later this year. Additional Five Iron Golf locations are planned across Florida as part of the brand’s continued regional expansion.
“This venue reflects our long-term belief in South Florida as a key growth market,” said Peter McCormick, Owner and Developer of Five Iron Golf Coral Gables. “By bringing together instruction, technology, bowling, and hospitality at this scale, we’re establishing a flagship that sets the tone for future growth in the region.”
Located at The Plaza in Coral Gables, the venue will welcome walk-in guests with no membership required, alongside flexible memberships, lessons, leagues, and private event options for corporate outings and celebrations.
The Coral Gables opening marks a significant milestone in Five Iron Golf’s continued expansion, joining more than 40 locations across 16 states and five countries.
