Two rising stars join fellow WTGL players Brooke Henderson, Charley Hull, Lydia Ko and Jeeno Thitikul, all playing in LPGA Tour’s season opener, Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions

Orlando, Fla. (Jan. 27, 2026) – TMRW Sports announced two more committed LPGA Tour players for WTGL, a new platform for team golf in partnership with the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA), with the addition of rising stars Lottie Woad (England, World No. 11) and Rose Zhang (United States, World No. 66). Woad and Zhang both won their professional debuts, are former World No. 1 amateurs, and Augusta National Women’s Amateur champions. They also are competing this week in the LPGA Tour’s season-opening event, the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions, at Lake Nona Golf & Country Club in Orlando, Fla. Additionally in the field are WTGL commits Brooke Henderson, Charley Hull, Lydia Ko, and Jeeno Thitikul.

“The response to WTGL since our launch has been incredibly encouraging, particularly in the level of interest and commitment we’re seeing from players across the LPGA Tour,” said Liz Moore, Chief Media, Strategy and Legal Officer. “Having Lottie and Rose join this growing group — and seeing so many WTGL players competing this week at the LPGA Tour’s season-opening Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions — reinforces our belief that WTGL will complement the LPGA in a meaningful way and create new opportunities to showcase the incredible talent, personalities and competitiveness of our athletes.”

Preparing for a launch in winter 2026-27, WTGL will feature a season of fast-paced, team match play from the custom-built SoFi Center in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. As a showcase for the skill, personalities, and team spirit of the participating LPGA stars, WTGL will build upon the foundation of TGL presented by SoFi, which was described as a “high-energy arena spectacle” by Vanity Fair, “pure entertainment” by GQ, and “golf’s boldest new venture” by Fast Company. In addition to featuring foundational elements of TGL like mic’d up moments, risk-reward team decisions and throwing the Hammer, WTGL will provide the same tech-driven platform with comprehensive shot performance data and statistics-based analytics built seamlessly into the competition. With Alex Morgan’s Trybe Ventures as the lead capital partner, WTGL is TMRW Sports’ second project and is in partnership with the LPGA.
