Golf Space Collective expands leadership with Alexis Hay leading player content and media strategy

Seasoned digital strategist and founder of HIA Digital joins Golf Space Collective to lead athlete-first storytelling, content strategy, and multi-platform distribution

JACKSONVILLE BEACH, FL | January 26, 2026Golf Space Collective (GSC), a creative and production agency serving modern golf brands, athletes, and properties, today announced that Alexis Hay has joined the company as Head of Player Content and Media.

Hay brings more than 15 years of experience spanning sports, television, and talent-led digital strategy. She is the founder of HIA Digital and has built and led content systems for elite athletes and globally recognized talent, including Sergio Garcia, Christiaan Bezuidenhout, comedian Chelsea Handler, as well as major broadcast and sports franchises such as The Oscars, Dancing with the Stars, LA Galaxy, NASCAR and WWE. Her background spans early digital and social strategy for television marketing through the evolution of short-form, social-first media—an overlap that has become increasingly relevant as golf athletes build direct, owned platforms.

In her new role, Hay will oversee GSC’s player content and media vertical, leading strategy, creative development, production planning, and distribution for GSC’s roster of golf athletes and team partners. She will also help expand GSC’s capabilities around athlete media training, tournament-week content operations, and always-on programming built to perform across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging platforms.

“Alexis is one of the rare leaders who can connect elite creative, disciplined strategy, and real-world execution,” said Preston McClellan, Founder of Golf Space Collective. “She understands how to build a player’s media engine from the ground up, from voice and narrative through day-to-day content operations. As our athlete work continues to scale, Alexis is the right person to set the standard and lead this next chapter.”

Known for building content ecosystems that translate seamlessly online and in-person, Hay will partner closely with players, managers, agents, and brand stakeholders to develop high-output, brand-safe programs that sharpen narrative, maintain consistency, and deliver measurable performance without compromising authenticity.

“I believe the strongest content lives where identity, story, and consistency meet, and the most compelling stories are always athlete-led. My focus is supporting athletes in telling their stories in a way that feels true to who they are, while giving them the freedom to stay locked in on their performance,” said Alexis Hay, Head of Player Content and Media at Golf Space Collective. “Golf is entering a new era where athletes can build direct relationships with fans, partners, and communities at scale. Golf Space Collective has already proven it can deliver world-class creative in this space, and I’m excited to deepen the player offering, build repeatable systems, and raise the ceiling for what athlete media can be.”

Expanding GSC’s Player Content Offering
With Hay’s appointment, GSC is formalizing an expanded player content and media framework designed to support athletes year-round, including:

  • Player brand strategy, voice, and narrative positioning
  • Content systems for in-season and off-season, including planning and cadence
  • Tournament-week capture and rapid-turn editing workflows
  • Always-on short-form and long-form programming across platforms
  • Brand partnership integration and sponsor deliverables
  • Media training support and on-camera performance coaching
  • Performance reporting, distribution strategy, and content optimization
