PECOS, Texas — June 8, 2026 — Reeves County Golf Course is redefining the municipal golf experience in West Texas with the installation of 10 new Power Tee automatic golf ball teeing machines at its driving range facility.
The installation makes Reeves County Golf Course one of the first municipal golf facilities in West Texas to introduce the innovative range technology, giving golfers a premium practice experience typically found at high-end golf destinations and entertainment venues.
Since the installation, the facility has already experienced a noticeable increase in driving range activity and customer traffic. Golfers have quickly embraced the new technology and are making Reeves County Golf Course a preferred destination for practice in the area.
“We’ve already seen a sizeable increase in the number of people attending our driving range because of Power Tee,” said Reeves County Golf Course Superintendent Michael Elrod. “Our golfers have been very happy with it, and the feedback has been extremely positive. Reeves County Golf Course is the first facility in our area to install Power Tee ahead of competing courses nearby, and it has definitely helped set us apart.”
Power Tee automatically tees up golf balls for players, creating a more comfortable, efficient, and enjoyable practice environment. The system has become increasingly popular at golf courses, practice facilities, and golf entertainment venues around the world seeking to modernize their driving ranges and attract more customers.
The addition of Power Tee aligns with Reeves County Golf Course’s ongoing commitment to improving the golfer experience while investing in amenities that help drive participation, increase customer satisfaction, and position the municipal facility as a leader in the regional golf market.
“We’re excited to partner with Reeves County Golf Course as they continue investing in their facility and enhancing the golfer experience,” said Power Tee founder and owner Martin Wyeth. “Municipal golf courses are recognizing the importance of offering modern amenities that keep golfers engaged, attract new visitors, and encourage players to spend more time practicing and enjoying the facility.”
With the installation now complete, Reeves County Golf Course continues to strengthen its reputation as one of the most forward-thinking municipal golf facilities in West Texas.
