DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., and MIDLAND, Mich. – June 10, 2026 – The Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) and Dow today announced the nominee class for the second annual Dow Impact Award, a prestigious platform that spotlights LPGA Tour athletes whose impact extends far beyond the fairways – women who are making extraordinary contributions in their communities and around the world.
Meet the 2026 Nominees
The 2026 Dow Impact Award nominees were determined through a rigorous selection process. An Executive Selection Committee reviewed and identified athletes who have demonstrated making measurable differences in their communities, particularly in areas related to Dow's three core criteria: Innovation, Inclusion, and Sustainability.
The class of nominees are:
- Brooke Henderson who supports children’s health by raising money for the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario
- Danielle Kang who established her own foundation dedicated to helping those with food insecurity in the Last Vegas area
- Jeeno Thitikul who gives back to her native home of Thailand by donating school and hospital supplies
- Angel Yin who inspires the next generation of golfers through her involvement with Girls Golf
Each of these athletes represents the intersection of athletic excellence and community impact that Dow believes defines true championship character.
This Year’s Program
Over the next few months, the LPGA will spotlight each nominee through a social media video series. Fan voting will open this fall to determine a winner, ensuring the award honors not only the players making a profound positive impact but also the supporters who make the LPGA possible.
The winner will be announced following the fan voting period, receiving a $25,000 cash award and matching contribution to their charity of choice to help them extend their impact. To expand on the program this year, the winner will also receive a second matching contribution to their charity of choice if they compete in and win the Dow Championship, making Danielle Kang and Angel Yin the only eligible nominees for this additional contribution. The runner-up will be recognized with a $15,000 cash award, and the other two nominees with $5,000 cash awards. Most importantly, all nominees will gain a powerful platform to showcase their community impact and inspire the next generation of athletes to think beyond personal achievement.
Where Purpose & Partnership Meet
For Dow, this award is more than a corporate sponsorship — it is an opportunity to honor women who are living their values and in doing so, bringing Dow’s own purpose to life in creative ways. As a global leader in materials science, Dow has spent more than a century tackling the world’s toughest challenges through innovation — driven by bold ideas, excellence, and a shared commitment to progress.
“The Dow Impact Award reinforces our commitment to using our platforms in and beyond sport to advance purpose-driven leadership and real-world impact,” said Carlos Padilla II, VP of Sports Partnerships at Dow. “It’s inspiring to see the range of initiatives this year’s nominees are championing beyond the course, and we’re proud to help amplify their impact and hopefully inspire others to join in on their efforts along the way.”
The award also reflects the long-standing and evolving partnership between Dow and the LPGA, built on aligned values and a shared commitment to impact since 2018.
“The LPGA is excited to continue the shared commitment to community engagement along with Dow with our next crop of nominees for the Dow Impact Award,” said Monica Fee, LPGA Chief Sales and Partnerships Office. “We are excited to continue showcasing our amazing LPGA Tour athletes for all their achievements on and off the course.”
