STAMFORD, Conn. – July 1, 2026 – The PGA TOUR heads to TPC Deere Run for the annual John Deere Classic, where it will celebrate the 250thanniversary of America’s independence live on Golf Channel. Meanwhile, the U.S. Senior Open brings together legends of the game for the biggest senior event of the year, held at Scioto Country Club in Columbus, Ohio.

U.S. SENIOR OPEN
The biggest senior event of the year and the third senior major championship of 2026, the U.S. Senior Open will be played at Scioto Country Club in Columbus, Ohio this week. The famed Donald Ross-designed course is where Jack Nicklaus learned to play golf and where Bobby Jones won the U.S. Open 100 years ago. This week, Scioto hosts the U.S. Senior Open for the third time.
Padraig Harrington won his second U.S. Senior Open in 2025, finishing at 11-under 269 at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs to beat Stewart Cink by one stroke. Cink has won the first two senior majors of 2026, at the Senior PGA Championship and the Regions Tradition.

ARNOLD PALMER CUP
The world’s best collegiate golfers compete at the 2026 Arnold Palmer Cup this week. The tournament, a Ryder Cup-style event that features men and women playing side-by-side as partners, takes place July 3-5 in Tralee, County Kerry, Ireland at Tralee Golf Links, a course designed by Arnold Palmer himself.
Golf Channel will present the Arnold Palmer Cup on Golf Channel Mobile and GolfChannel.com starting at 7 a.m. ET on Friday, when the teams compete in Mixed Fourball. On Saturday, coverage begins with Foursomes competition at 5 a.m. ET and continues with Mixed Foursomes coverage at 10:30 a.m. ET. Sunday’s singles competition airs live starting at 5 a.m. ET.
LIBERTY CUP
As Americans gather to celebrate the nation's 250th anniversary, Golf Channel will broadcast the inaugural Liberty Cup from Liberty National Golf Club on July 4. Played in the shadow of the Statue of Liberty, the championship honors military service while showcasing the camaraderie, competition and community fostered through the Veteran Golfers Association (VGA).
The two-hour Golf Channel special will air from 3-5 p.m. ET and feature coverage and storytelling from Golf Channel commentators Brandel Chamblee, Damon Hack and Jimmy Roberts. The broadcast will highlight the competition, the Veterans who earned their place in the championship field and the role the VGA plays in enriching the lives of Veterans and their families through golf.
DP WORLD TOUR: BMW INTERNATIONAL OPEN
Golfclub Munchen Eichenried in Munich, Germany hosts the BMW International Open this week, airing live on Golf Channel, Golf Channel Mobile and GolfChannel.com.
Coverage begins on Golf Channel at 6:30 a.m. ET on Thursday and Friday and moves to Golf Channel Mobile and GolfChannel.com at 11 a.m. ET. On Saturday and Sunday, coverage begins at 7 a.m. ET on Golf Channel.
