Nelly Korda aims for LPGA Hall of Fame and third major win of ’26 this weekend in 50th AIG Women's Open on NBC and Peacock

The world's top players head to historic Royal Lytham & St. Annes for the LPGA Tour's final major championship of the season

STAMFORD, Conn. – July 29, 2026 – World No. 1 Nelly Korda aims to secure her place in the LPGA Hall of Fame this weekend as the milestone 50th edition of the AIG Women's Open heads to historic Royal Lytham & St. Annes Golf Club in Lancashire, England.

Live coverage will be presented on NBC and Peacock at Noon ET this Saturday, Aug. 1 and Sunday, Aug. 2.

With a win at Royal Lytham & St. Annes in the final major championship of the 2026 season, Korda would earn entry into the LPGA Hall of Fame. In addition, with victories at the Chevron Championship in April and the U.S. Women's Open in June, she aims to become the first player to win three women's major championships in a single season since Inbee Park in 2013. World No. 3 Haeran Ryu, who captured the KPMG Women's PGA Championship in June and the Amundi Evian Championship in July, also has the opportunity to become the first player since Park to win three women's majors in a season.

Among those joining Korda and Ryu in the field are World No. 2 Jeeno Thitikul, defending AIG Women’s Open champion Miyu Yamashita, England's Lottie Woad and Charley Hull, former AIG Women's Open champion Lydia Ko, and three-time major champion Minjee Lee.

Royal Lytham & St. Annes last hosted the championship in 2018, when England's Georgia Hall captured her first major title in front of home crowds.
