Monterey, Calif. – With golf participation among young players reaching unprecedented levels, Youth on Course is tapping four influential voices to join Roger Steele and Tisha Alyn in championing affordable golf access across the country.
Joining them is an exciting new roster of media personalities and golf content creators, Hally Leadbetter, Bradford Wilson, Mariah Swigart, and Nick Dimengo. While each has established a strong presence in the golf community, they all share a commitment to Youth on Course's mission of expanding access and opportunity through golf. Collectively, they reach an audience of more than 2 million.
"We're excited to welcome Hally, Bradford, Mariah and Nick. They will be joining Roger and Tisha as we celebrate 20 years of impact and continue to aggressively grow our movement," says Steven Martin, CMO of Youth on Course. "Their passion for golf and commitment to our mission will help inspire the next generation while creating even more opportunities for young people to experience the life-changing impact of more access to playing the game”Throughout the year, the ambassadors will amplify these efforts through storytelling initiatives, involvement in Youth on Course owned programs, including the signature 100 Hole Hike fundraising initiative. They will additionally showcase partner courses by highlighting affordable access and encourage more facilities to join the Youth on Course network. By inspiring the next generation of golfers, the ambassadors will help strengthen golf communities in the U.S. and around the world.
The organization's continued rapid growth is supported by a network of Donors, AGA partners, golf facilities, corporate partners and community supporters committed to expanding pathways to golf for youth. Beginning in 2006 with a mission to provide youth access to golf for $5 or less, the organization has grown into a national movement reshaping how kids, families, courses and communities engage with the sport.
In 2025, Youth on Course members:
- Played 1.52 million rounds of golf, a 46% increase from 2024
- Spent 4.6 million hours outside on the course
- Walked 5.7 million miles on the course
In addition to providing affordable access to golf, Youth on Course helps make the sport more accessible for families while creating opportunities for young people to experience its many benefits, including improved physical and mental well-being. A recent member survey highlights the positive impact a Youth on Course membership can have on participants and their families:
- 98% said having a Youth on Course membership makes golf accessible and affordable for their family.
- 86% said the benefits they get from their Youth on Course membership have positively impacted their life
- 79% said playing golf with their Youth on Course membership has helped improve their physical and mental health
Today, the Youth on Course network spans over 2,300 golf courses and more than 400,000 members across the U.S., Canada, and Australia. With members recently surpassing 5 million rounds played, the organization continues to demonstrate its meaningful impact on young golfers and the communities it serves. Beyond affordable rounds, Youth on Course members gain access to college scholarships, internship programs, and leadership opportunities designed to support their growth on and off the course.
Brief bios and quotes from the ambassadors include:
Hally Leadbetter: Hally is an on-camera host and digital creator for Golf Digest and CBS Sports known for her humorous, lifestyle-driven golf content. She is the co-founder of BetterCo and the creator of BUNCHIES snacks. Hally seamlessly blends deep industry knowledge with lighthearted entertainment to bring a fresh perspective to the sport.
"I'm thrilled to join Youth on Course as an Ambassador and support a mission I genuinely believe in—making golf accessible to young people regardless of their background. Providing rounds for $5 or less is the kind of initiative that grows the game the right way, and I can't wait to help spread the word."
Mariah Swigart: Mariah is a lifestyle creator and fitness enthusiast sharing her golf journey. Her content focuses on course vlogs, swing practice, and accessible, stylish golf lifestyle trends.
"Having started golf as a young girl and spent years teaching both in the classroom and on the golf course, the impact that access and opportunity can have on a child's future is something I've seen firsthand. Youth on Course is creating pathways for more juniors to experience the game, and serving as an ambassador is a meaningful opportunity to support that mission. What excites me most is helping grow awareness for an organization that is not only making golf more affordable, but also helping shape confident, resilient and well-rounded young people through the game."
Nick Dimengo: Nick is the driving force behind the Rainmakers Golf Club digital media brand, as well as a partner in Golf Starter Club, providing access to world-class instruction, recognized creators, and a community built on improvement. "Golf's been a huge part of my life, taking me to unbelievable places, introducing me to friends and playing partners, and providing me lessons that have nothing to do with a perfect swing. That's why I'm thrilled to support Youth on Course and its mission because they're removing barriers, opening doors and proving that golf can be for everyone. Here's to the next generation!"
Bradford Wilson: Bradford is an LA-based actor, creative producer, and golf personality who advocates for representation and culture in the sport. Through projects like his Dear Golf series, he uses his platform to share authentic experiences and build community on and off the course.
“Golf changed my life, but access wasn't guaranteed growing up in Willingboro, New Jersey. A program like Youth on Course would have meant everything to my friends and me. In all my travels, I've learned that the game is the same in every corner of this country. And one of the best ways to get young people involved is through programs like this one. That's exactly why I'm proud to be an ambassador. So the next generation doesn't have to wonder if the game is for them. I think we have something special here.”
Roger Steele: Roger is a Chicago-born entrepreneur, host, and content creator dedicated to pushing boundaries and expanding accessibility in golf. Through his storytelling and creative agency work, he highlights diverse voices and brings an authentic, modern energy to golf culture.
