The Grove to host second annual Fore! The Women’s Game on 10 August, 2026

HERTFORDSHIRE, England (August 5, 2026) – The Grove, a premier five-star golf and leisure resort located northwest of London, will host the second annual Fore! The Women’s Game on Monday, 10 August 2026. This event aims to celebrate and promote women's participation in golf by bringing together influential female golfers for a day of camaraderie and competition.

Building on the success of last year's inaugural event, The Grove continues its commitment to supporting women's golf. As a signatory of The R&A Women in Golf Charter, the resort has implemented initiatives such as women-only clinics, hosts numerous England Golf campaigns, and has been a host course for the Rose Ladies Series, a highly competitive UK-based women's professional golf tour founded in 2020 by Ryder Cup star Justin Rose and his wife, Kate. The upcoming event underscores these efforts, providing a platform for women to connect and engage in the sport.

This year's event will feature two-time major winner and 2023 Solheim Cup captain Suzann Pettersen. Pettersen, who led Team Europe to retain the Solheim Cup in 2023, will conduct a swing check session and participate in the "Beat the Pro" challenge on the fourth hole.

“Fore! The Women’s Game is an event we’re incredibly proud to have created. Bringing together leading creators, players and broadcasters, alongside one of the sport's greatest champions, gives us an opportunity to celebrate the momentum behind women’s golf while encouraging new conversations and connections,” said Joel Westwell, Director of Golf at The Grove. “The event is an important part of our commitment to making the women’s game more welcoming, visible and accessible and we hope everyone enjoys a fantastic day and leaves feeling inspired to continue growing the sport together.”

The day's schedule will include breakfast, the aforementioned golf activities with Suzann Pettersen, golf rounds, post-golf food and drink, mini massages provided by spa therapists and a prize giving ceremony.

In addition to Pettersen, the Fore! The Women’s Game event will feature a mix of golf, celebrity and influencer attendees.
