Tee time lotteries have been a staple of private club operations for decades, and Whoosh has supported similar workflows to manage tee sheet compaction — requests, waitlists, booking restrictions by membership type — in response to consistent demand from its club customer base. What launches today is the formalized, full-featured expression of that capability: a standardized weighted lottery algorithm that gives clubs a configurable, points-based draw built directly into their existing Whoosh environment.
Whoosh Lottery enables private club staff to configure and run a weighted or manual tee time lottery quickly and easily. Clubs can set point sources, membership weighting, guest treatment, and rolling windows directly in settings. Unplaced members are automatically awarded priority points for the next draw and flow into a live operational waitlist, where staff can fill open times in one click or members can claim them via Whoosh's Waitlist Notifications feature.
