INDIAN WELLS, California – [September 22, 2026] – The Epson Tour today announced a collaboration with Sun Mountain Sports to present a commemorative Sun Mountain x Epson Tour staff bag to each of the 15 players who earn their LPGA Tour cards at the conclusion of the 2026 season at the Epson Tour Championship.
With the season finale on the horizon, players on the Epson Tour, the official qualifying tour of the LPGA, will be vying to finish among the top 15 in the season-long Race for the Card standings and graduate to the highest stage in women's professional golf. For the first time, that achievement will be marked with a personalized Sun Mountain staff bag, each stitched with the graduate’s name to recognize one of the most meaningful milestones in a professional golfer’s career.
The 15 custom-designed bags will be presented during the Card Ceremony on October 4 following the final round of the Epson Tour Championship at Indian Wells Golf Resort. The bags will include Epson Tour and Road to the LPGA branding, creating a lasting reminder of the journey and the achievement.
“Earning an LPGA Tour card is the culmination of years of work and sacrifice, and this commemorative bag is symbolic of the journey each player has taken, and the next phase of their career where a caddie and staff bag is required” said Jody Brothers, General Manager, Epson Tour. “Years from now, when these players look back on their careers, I think these bags will be every bit as meaningful as any trophy or award in their collection because of what they represent.”
“The LPGA continues to build star power through the Epson Tour, and it’s exciting to see the sport’s next generation of athletes earn their way onto that stage,” said Grant Lordan, Director of Marketing, Sun Mountain Sports. “The 15 players who earn their way to the LPGA Tour, many for the first time, will have accomplished something incredibly meaningful, and we’re proud to support them as they take the next step in their careers. We’ve always believed a golf bag becomes part of a player’s story, and this collaboration with the Epson Tour was a natural opportunity for Sun Mountain given our longstanding focus on the committed golfer.”
The bags will be featured throughout Championship week, September 28-October 4, both on-site and across Epson Tour and Sun Mountain channels.
The 2026 Epson Tour Championship will be contested October 1-4 on the Players Course at Indian Wells Golf Resort in Indian Wells, California, featuring the top 80 players in the season-long Race for the Card standings. The limited-field, no-cut championship will see all 80 players compete across 72 holes.
