Seoul, South Korea – WMX Grips (wmx-usa.com) today announced Hole Loga, a putter grip engineered around a lightweight magnesium frame and a thin proprietary performance outer layer. Building a grip around metal is an unconventional choice in a category long associated with soft, flexible materials. The rigid frame establishes the grip’s shape and is designed to transmit strike feedback, while the thin outer layer provides comfort and traction against the hands. An optional modular weight system, developed alongside the grip, lets players tailor weight and balance to their own stroke.
WMX questioned whether the conventional soft construction of an oversized putter grip was the right starting point for the feel it wanted to deliver. The design brief called for a substantial profile, distinct feedback at impact to help players judge contact and develop distance control, and a surface that would maintain a consistent feel through repeated use. Those performance goals drove the choice of materials and the engineering behind Hole Loga.
Hole Loga combines a pistol-shaped top with a parallel lower-hand profile designed to encourage a comfortable grip with reduced hand tension. It is offered in three sizes, with base grip weights of 76g for Small, 88g for Medium, and 100g for Large, before adding optional tuning weights.
“We wanted players to reconsider what a putter grip could be,” said Kim Hwon, Founder of WMX. “We know Hole Loga won’t suit everyone. But pushing grip design forward means being willing to question conventional construction and build something distinctly different. For us, that meant choosing a magnesium frame for the feel we wanted at impact and developing a weight system that gives players more fitting options.”
The optional Performance Tuning Weight Kit supports individual fitting by giving players control over both total added weight and its distribution inside the grip. Interchangeable 3g, 10g, and 15g weight segments screw together in sequence, allowing players to distribute weight evenly or concentrate more toward the top or farther down the grip. The segments can be changed or rearranged after grip installation to dial in each player’s preferred balance and feel.
Hole Loga will be available November 2 through authorized WMX dealers and at wmx-usa.com, with ten core colors offered across Small, Medium, and Large sizes. Color availability varies by size. Suggested retail pricing is $79 for the grip and $30 for the Performance Tuning Weight Kit. The Complete Performance System, which includes both, is $99.
Hole Loga features a dedicated installation process developed for its magnesium-frame construction. Professional installation following the supplied instructions is recommended.
