Caledonia Golf & Fish Club, True Blue Golf Club: Earn the 2025 Platinum Award from the Association of Golf Merchandisers, which recognizes the top 100 golf shops worldwide for excellence in merchandising, customer service and retail operations across public, private, resort and off-course golf facilities. Both courses are located in Pawleys Island, South Carolina.

Blue Tees Golf: Will showcase its lineup of golf electronics at the PGA Show, Jan. 22-24 in Orlando, Florida. Retail buyers, PGA Professionals and industry leaders are invited to schedule an appointment with Blue Tees Golf for hands-on demonstrations of its Playmaker+ GPS watch and Series 4 Ultra Rangefinder, along with Blue Tees’ full technology product lineup.

PGA Tour, Pro Shop Studios: To launch a season-long sequence of events and content featuring prominent YouTube creators in golf. The creator series will unfold across three PGA Tour events throughout the 2025 FedEx Cup Season. More than 20 creators will participate across the following three events — The Players Championship (Players Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass, Wednesday, March 12), Truist Championship (Wissahickon Course at The Philadelphia Cricket Club, Wednesday, May 7) and the Tour Championship (East Lake Golf Club, Wednesday, Aug. 20). The events will be streamed via PGA Tour YouTube channel, PGA Tour Fast channels, ESPN+ and NBC platforms.

PEOPLE

TravisMathew: Signs two-time PGA Tour champion Akshay Bhatia to become a brand ambassador. Bhatia joins a growing list of ambassadors that includes fellow pro golfers Chris Kirk, Sam Burns, Will Gordon and Tyler McCumber. 

Desert Highlands: Names Cody Horstman as director of agronomy of the Scottsdale, Arizona. Horstman succeeds the retiring Curtis Tyrrell and comes to Desert Highlands from nearby Pinnacle Peak Country Club, where he was the director of agronomy for more than a decade.

PHILANTHROPY

Grayson Murray Foundation: Launched by Eric and Terry Murray, parents of the late PGA Tour player Grayson Murray. Murray passed away on May 25, 2024 at the age of 30 after being open about his personal experience with anxiety, depression and addiction. The Foundation's mission is to raise awareness and support of mental health and addiction challenges faced by individuals from all walks of life. Also, it aims to create an impact on mental health and addiction care by supporting innovative research, expanding access to essential services and fostering a culture of understanding.
