LPGA: Announces that Valhalla Golf Club, in Louisville, Kentucky, will host the 21st Solheim Cup in 2028. With the 2028 Solheim Cup, Valhalla will join The Greenbrier, Muirfield Village and Gleneagles as the only venues to host both a Solheim Cup and a Ryder Cup. Dates for the 2028 Solheim Cup will be announced at a later date.
United States Golf Association: Selects Whistling Straits, in Kohler, Wisconsin, as the host site for three future USGA championships, beginning with the 2028 U.S. Amateur. The 2033 U.S. Junior Amateur and 2037 U.S. Girls’ Junior will also be conducted on the Wisconsin courses. Host to four major championships and one Ryder Cup, Whistling Straits features two courses, the Straits and the Irish.
PGA Tour: Announces the 2025 FedEx Cup Regular Season and FedEx Cup Playoffs schedule, a 39-event slate. The 36-even regular season includes the four major championships, eight signature events, 18 full-field events and five additional events. The three-event playoffs will conclude with the Tour Championship Aug. 21-24. The eight signature events are The Sentry (Dec. 30-Jan. 5), AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am (Jan. 27-Feb. 2); Genesis Invitational (Feb. 10-16), Arnold Palmer Invitational (March 3-9), RBC Heritage (April 14-20), Truist Championship (May 5-11), Memorial Tournament (May 26-June 1) and Travelers Championship (June 16-22). The 2025 FedEx Cup Fall, which will finalize eligibility for the 2026 season, will be announced at a later date.

LIV Golf: Award-winning musical artists Bailey Zimmerman and Martin Garrix will perform at the LIV Golf Dallas Team Championship, debuting at Maridoe Golf Club in Carrollton, Texas, Sept. 20-22. All tickets for Saturday and Sunday competition include the respective concerts. Zimmerman, a multiple award nominated country music singer, will perform on Saturday, Sept. 21; Garrix, a noted DJ and producer, will perform on Sunday, Sept. 22.
United States Golf Association, R&A: Lottie Woad has won the Mark H. McCormack Medal as the leading woman in the 2024 World Amateur Golf Ranking. Woad is the first female winner of the McCormack Medal from England and she receives exemptions into the 2025 U.S. Women’s Open and next year’s AIG Women’s Open. Woad's accomplishments this year include winning the Augusta National Women’s Amateur and finishing second at the NCAA D1 Women’s Championship. Later this month, she will compete for Great Britain and Ireland in the Curtis Cup at Sunningdale in England.
Supreme Golf: Tee-time marketplace and golf course software company announces a partnership with The Weather Channel to provide U.S. tee time inventory and booking services through The Weather Channel app. Supreme Golf’s list of available tee times allows users to search for courses by distance, price and rating.
