Due to recent devastating wildfires in Los Angeles, California, the PGA Tour made the decision to relocate the Genesis Invitational from Riviera Country Club to Torrey Pines’ South Course, which hosted the Farmers Insurance Open three weeks ago. It's the first time since 2020 that two different PGA Tour tournaments were played at the same venue in the same season — the Workday Charity Open and the Memorial Tournament were played in successive weeks at Muirfield Village Golf Club. In this week's field are 37 players who played in the Farmers Insurance Open, including five who finished inside the top 10 — Harris English (Won), Sam Stevens (2nd), Andrew Novak (3rd), Sungjae Im (T4) and Taylor Pendrith (T7).
