What to know about the Genesis Invitational:
▪️ The Genesis Invitational marks the 100-year anniversary since the first playing of the event in 1926. Riviera is one of nine venues on the PGA Tour’s 2026 schedule that has hosted a PGA TOUR event for 50 or more years.
▪️ The field features:
> 27 of the top 30 players in the Official World Golf Ranking, including 14 of the top 15 and all of the top 10;
> Four past champions — Ludvig Åberg (2025), Hideki Matsuyama (2024), Max Homa (2021) and Adam Scott (2020, 2005/unofficial win);
> 59 PGA Tour winners, led by Rory McIlroy (29), Scottie Scheffler (20) and Adam Scott (14).
▪️ Two-time Genesis Invitational champion Adam Scott makes his 430th PGA Tour start and 18th appearance at the Genesis Invitational where he has seven top-10 finishes.
▪️ Tournament host Tiger Woods made his PGA Tour debut at this event in 1992 as a 16-year-old amateur. He missed the cut. His most recent appearance was 2024.
