Kris Ventura is making a return to the PGA Tour after finishing 24th on the 2024 Korn Ferry Tour Points List. On Thursday, Ventura, a native of Puebla, Mexico, owned a share of the Mexico Open's opening-round lead after a 7-under-par 64. The round marked his career low opening-round score and it's the first lead he has held after any round in 57 starts on the PGA Tour.
